00:00Never be so disappointed to say victory is not possible.
00:07Victory is possible.
00:09Second thing, even if you cannot win, the battle is worth it.
00:18Some battles need to be fought just because they deserve to be fought.
00:25Not for the sake of victory, but for the sake of the fight itself.
00:32And victory is indeed possible.
00:37We are all hypnotized since birth.
00:41That's what is called maya.
00:43The most fundamental hypnosis, maya.
00:47We are hypnotized.
00:48Just as somebody can hypnotize us, somebody can also break the hypnosis.
00:54It is possible.
00:56Never never lose faith, it's possible.
01:01And even if you perished in the attempt, it's a life well lived, it's a death well deserved.
01:11There is glory not only in living, there is glory also in perishing.
01:20What's the problem if one perishes for the right reason?
01:23Or is there a problem?
01:25How long did Bhagat Singh live?
01:29Do you look at him as a loser?
01:31Oh loser, light died just when he was 22 or 23.
01:34Do you say that?
01:37Who in his right mind would call Bhagat Singh a loser just because he lived only 22 years?
01:43What's the problem in perishing at 22?
01:53Fight the right battle, that's it.
01:56And remember, they don't have some kind of a copyright over victory.
02:04Arjun was never guaranteed a victory, but it turned out that Arjun won.
02:10And Krishna never tells Arjun, not a single verse in the entire Bhagavad Gita, Arjun,
02:14I am with you, you will definitely win.
02:16And Krishna could have very easily made that promise, no?
02:20Don't you find it surprising?
02:22Krishna never makes that promise.
02:23All he says is, you have to fight.
02:25You have to fight and I will not assist you.
02:28I will never pick up weapons.
02:30The fight is yours, you will fight it.
02:32And you must fight, fight.
02:35And he does win.
02:36It's possible.
02:38He might not have won, still, the Gita stands its place.
02:43Let's say Arjun was killed.
02:46Would that undervalue the Gita?
02:48Doesn't matter.
02:49Doesn't matter.
02:50Duryodhana won.
02:51Arjun got killed.
02:52Arjun fought valiantly and was martyred, fine, very fine.
03:03So try and don't think too much of the result.
03:07The attempt is sufficient.
03:10Make it a heartful, honest attempt in love.
03:16Love the fight.
03:18That's real love.
03:21Give all your inner space to something that is beautiful for you.
03:30Let there be no vacancy.
03:37And a headband, no vacancy.
03:42Or have a t-shirt, straight on your heart here, no vacancy, occupied, engaged.
04:04The knowers in the spiritual domain, they have said, we are wedded already.
04:17And not only in the spiritual domain, obviously you know of Bhagat Singh.
04:25So he was just 22 or 23 when he laid down his life.
04:32His mother had approached him once, you'll have to marry, you'll have to marry.
04:42He said, but I already am.
04:46And she was shocked, how can my son do that, what's her name?
04:51And what did he say?
04:54What did he say?
04:56Azadi.
04:57So no vacancy.
05:00The girls are all beautiful, but sorry, no vacancy, already married, no vacancy.
05:21And that's why you remember him today.
05:25And that's why all others have become the dust of time.
05:31And Bhagat Singh is immortal.
05:33Even though he left his body at 23, yet he is immortal.
05:38And there were those who lived long lives for 90, 100 years.
05:44And yet, as we say, are just the dust of time.
05:47Who cares for them?
05:53What's the difference?
06:01Have an early wedding, as early as possible.
06:09Not the kind of wedding that requires social, religious and legal sanction and ceremonies.
06:19An internal wedding.
06:22Let nobody know of it.
06:28Freedom, Azadi.
06:35What do you think?
06:36Bhagat Singh had time to think of miscellaneous things?
06:45How occupied he was, you know of it.
06:48Even on the eve of his hanging, he was still reading the Bhagavad Gita.
07:04A copy of that, in fact, that particular copy is still preserved.
07:09Or was he thinking, tomorrow I'll die, what will happen then?
07:15Was he thinking?
07:17No.
07:18He said, but I still have a few, I still have a few hours.
07:23Let me spend these hours with the beloved.
07:27I have something very important to do.
07:30Or was he doing nothing in particular?
07:37Was he doing nothing in particular even in his last hours?
07:41No.
07:42He said, let me spend this time in reading and he was a voracious reader.
07:49At your age, he was so well read.
07:58Never had any time to waste.
08:07I don't know, this one is from Bhagat Singh or one of the other great revolutionaries.
08:16But they actually marked the last page they read in their favourite book.
08:23And somebody out of curiosity asked them, it said, tomorrow you are going to be hanged.
08:27You will be no more.
08:28Why are you marking this page?
08:34And very mystically he said, because I have to continue from there.
08:43No time for self-pity, inner misery, sad thoughts.
08:54No time.
08:56I am busy with the right thing, even in my last moment.
09:12How about such a life?
09:16Does it not excite you?
