00:0024-3 was the final in the swamp. Aaron Rodgers, of course, had himself an outstanding night.
00:09He opened the game by hitting Alan Lazard for a touchdown, which I believe we had yesterday,
00:14Scottie, a plus 370. Alan Lazard to score in that game. Now we had Garrett Wilson for
00:20first touchdown, but we did say I'd play him for an anytime as well. And sure enough, Aaron
00:25Rodgers did find him on Westwood One Sports. The Birdman. First and goal from the two.
00:32Shotgun. Rodgers. Paul to his left. Jets trying to add to their lead. Fake the handoff. Rodgers
00:39to his right. Throwing. Caught. Touchdown. Terrific grab by Garrett Wilson for the score.
00:48Well, there you go. The Birdman with the call. And Rodgers had it all going last night. I mean,
00:5527 and 35. I mean, he was just completely on. He was completely on. And he even said
01:01afterwards, Scottie, that felt like a young man again, his old self. Here's Aaron Rodgers.
01:08How did it feel for you to get out on a move like that? Great. I was feeling real good out
01:12there. I felt good pregame. And, you know, I've been progressing. I said to you guys after week
01:17one, you know, it's going to be a process of continue to extend plays once I feel more
01:22comfortable. And this was kind of the first step in playing like I know I'm capable of playing.
01:27I felt like I was, you know, myself quite a few years ago. So he ran out of the pocket a couple
01:34times and two great passes. And then the one time he ran out and took off for the sideline, he got
01:39tackled right at the sideline and went down and everyone held their breath collectively. And he
01:47got up and even the guy that tackled him was like, I'm sorry. You can see he's like, I'm sorry.
01:53He goes, I'm all right. You don't want to hurt the old guy, you know? You don't want to hurt
02:00the legend, even though they're rivals. You saw that whole thing happen. That's exactly what he
02:06said to him. That's precisely what it was. You know, there's really only one way to sum up the
02:12night as far as the New England side of things, Scotty. And look, we said it. They hadn't been
02:18in a spot yet this year where they got down two, three scores and then was their offense putrid
02:25when that did happen to them. They were not able to generate anything. But I thought that
02:29Jabril Preppers, who of course is one of their better defenders, he summed up the night perfectly
02:35for New England. It was real tough. Divisional game, prime time, and you know, came out that
02:44ass kicking. Plain and simple. Plain and simple. We got ready. You know, I hear all the time and
02:54I heard it today as well. And I keep hearing it like, you know, all these people on TV. I love
03:00Jacoby Brissett. He's so steady. He's so, listen, like, just shut up. He sucks. I've been telling
03:08you for years, like, they keep trying to cram Brissett down my throat like he's some kind of
03:14stud quarterback. He's anything but. Who are you kidding? Like, are you, are you serious? I watched
03:20this game last night. He did absolutely nothing. He couldn't even throw for 100 yards. What
03:26quarterback, like, who in their right mind thinks that guy's good? I seriously, like, I'm not some
03:32kind of candy ass over here. I don't like, I don't watch games and I see some guy have 12 completions,
03:38whatever it is, for 98 yards. I'm like, this is your hair dryer city. Like, you, you, this is who
03:44you are. You are nothing. That guy is not a starting quarterback in the NFL. He should be in the United
03:49Football League. I don't want to hear it. I'm sick of Mayo covering for him too. Like, he did a lot of
03:54good things. No, he didn't. He did nothing in that game. Nothing at all. Zero. Kaput. Nine nil. Nunca.
