Dewan Nasional Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) telah menyetujui usulan pembentukan enam KEK baru dan perluasan KEK Nongsa di Batam. Dengan total target nilai investasi hingga Rp1.089,84 triliun pengembangan Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) diharapkan mampu menciptakan lebih dari 1,4 juta lapangan kerja.
