00:00Not only in the morning, it can be sweet because it can also be a main ingredient in a delicious putahe.
00:09So this is our salmon. We use king salmon.
00:13Before we fry or sear it, we will marinate it in soy sauce.
00:18Generous amount of soy sauce.
00:20So we will just submerge it, meat side down.
00:23While the fish is sipping the soy sauce, we have boiling water to blanch the nikki noodles.
00:34And then we will just submerge it for about 3 minutes before we discard the water.
00:43So that our noodles won't stick to each other, we will toss it in sesame oil.
00:47And then we will fry our marinated salmon.
00:54We will pat dry the skin side because that is the side that we will spread in a hot pan and hot oil.
01:07Sometimes we will ask how long should we cook the fish.
01:11Specifically for salmon, because it has a different color, we have what we call heat grain.
01:18This is so that you can see the side of the salmon from pink to pale or white.
01:24So that is what it means where the heat reaches from below.
01:29So if you want to know how long it will take to cook, it depends on your preference on how done or what doneness of the fish you want to achieve.
01:38But basically, that is the most important step when cooking your fish is to have those visual cues so that the fish won't overcook.
02:01Now for our glaze, our brown sugar using the same pan where we cooked the fish.
02:08And our soy sauce that we used earlier.
02:38And this is it.
02:39And this is it.
02:40And this is it.
02:41And this is it.
03:07And this is our special dish for our sweet episode.
