01:31Je sais ce que tu penses.
01:33Tu penses...
01:34Oh, ces deux-là ont l'air vraiment frappés.
01:37Même pour un couple de parents.
01:39Normalement, mes amis sont assez facilement allés.
01:42Pas aujourd'hui.
01:44Aujourd'hui, c'était un grand jour pour eux.
01:48Harold, est-ce que tu dois faire ça maintenant ?
01:52Ici ?
03:00Oh non.
03:01Oh non, non, non, non, non, non, non.
03:04Oh oui, tu as promis, père.
03:06Tu te souviens ?
03:07Plage, plage, plage.
03:59Oui, tu as raison.
06:14Yeah!
06:33Wow!
06:34Hey there, big blue ocean!
06:37Greetings, salty sea air!
06:39Hang ten, surfer dudes!
06:42Looking sandy, beach!
06:44Dune Daddy, the beach boy! Come in, beach boy!
06:47Beach boy here. What's up, Dune Daddy?
06:50Oh, not much. We were all just wondering...
06:53Have you found us a spot yet?
06:55It's a big niggatory there, son mama.
06:58I still haven't scoped out the primo place yet.
07:00You can't just plop down on the first spot you see, you know.
07:03Ideal beach spot has to be close enough to the water...
07:07Cowabunga!
07:09But not too close.
07:19And the sand has to be just right.
07:22Not too fine, not too clumpy.
07:24Different kinds of sand?
07:26And of course, there's the precise proximity to the snack shack.
07:31You have to be able to smell the french fries' brine.
07:35And now that I mention it, I declare this spot officially...
07:40Perfect!
07:44Man, oh man, what a morning!
07:47We couldn't have picked a better day to hit the beach.
07:50Or a better spot to park our gear.
07:52I could tell that Mom wanted to get cracking on her sketches.
07:55And Dad was already blowing the sand out of his reverse rotating vibraphonic bugle phone.
08:00Which left only me and Junior.
08:02And a long list of must-do beach activities.
08:05So many that we could hardly keep still.
08:07Will you please sit still?
08:09Sorry Mom.
08:10It's just that we have a lot of fun to pack into one day and only so much day to pack it in.
08:14Yes, well, your father and I have a lot to do too.
08:17But nobody's doing anything until they put some lotion on.
08:20Ah! That's cold!
08:22It tickles!
08:24Are you done?
08:25Yes, all done. Was that so bad?
08:28Yeah, in a good sort of way.
08:33That's some big list you got there, boys.
08:35So what's next on the big beach agenda?
08:38Well, we left the house. Check.
08:40Got to the beach. Check.
08:43Found a rocking spot. Check.
08:46Got all greased up. Yuck.
08:48So the next thing we have to do is...
08:51Hit the surf!
08:53Swimming! We go swimming!
08:55So Sue, what's wrong with digging in the sand first?
08:58Or, or, playing quietly while your mom and I work.
09:04Nothing, I guess. But first things first.
09:10And everybody knows that the first thing you do when you get to the beach is boot it into the water.
09:16But it looks so cold.
09:18And wet.
09:19Who cares how cold and wet it is?
09:21Come on, you guys. Weren't you ever kids?
09:24Of course we were kids.
09:26Although I don't recall being this pushy.
09:28Then if you were kids, you know I'm right, right?
09:31Right.
09:33Then what else is there to say but...
09:35That's what it is to run naked!
09:38Hey, you!
09:39Hey, no fair!
09:42Get back here, you!
09:57It tickles!
09:59Swimming! Swimming!
10:17Okay, let's see now.
10:19What haven't I done yet?
10:21Oh yeah.
10:22Swan dive!
10:24All right!
10:25Thank you, thank you.
10:27Boys, lunch time!
10:29Ah, lunch time?
10:37Five, six...
10:40Nothing like an onion ring hula hoop.
10:43George, please stop playing with your food.
10:49Uh-oh, looks like we have guests.
10:51Uninvited ones.
10:53I'll take care of it.
11:07There they go.
11:09Seagulls are such suckers for fried food.
11:12Who isn't?
11:13I'd grow wings and fly after those rings.
11:24All righty, that's two more things to check off my list.
11:27Swimming, check.
11:29Junk food, check.
11:31Of course it'd help if I had my pencil.
11:34Junior, did you take it?
11:36No.
11:40Maybe it got trampled under the sand or something.
11:43Help me find it, will you, Junior?
11:45Okey-dokey, George.
11:47I'll be right back.
11:54Il doit y avoir quelque chose ici.
12:00Tu vois quelque chose, Junior?
12:02Non.
12:03Oh, non!
12:04Quoi?
12:05Crab, George, crab!
12:07Crab?
12:09Qu'est-ce que c'est, un crab?
12:14Oh, un crab!
12:15Je veux dire, crab.
12:17Non, un mauvais crab!
12:19Partez! Partez!
12:22Oh!
12:23Vous retournez juste mon crayon.
12:26Un beau crab, George.
12:28Beau?
12:29Oui, un beau crab, Junior.
12:32Bonjour, Crusty.
12:34Tu n'es pas tellement un crab, hein?
12:37On dirait qu'on a trouvé un nouveau ami de plage, Junior.
12:40Crusty, je ne suis pas un crab.
12:42Je ne suis pas un crab.
12:44On dirait qu'on a trouvé un nouveau ami de plage, Junior.
12:47Crusty, je ne suis pas un crab.
12:50Après avoir fait des amis avec les locaux,
12:52c'était temps de faire du business sérieux.
12:55Je n'aime pas me moquer,
13:06Oh!
13:08Oh!
13:10Je sais pas...
13:12Ils...
13:14... se sentent bien, Mamie.
13:17Oh!
13:18Eh bien, ratonnez-y!
13:21Oh, merci, George.
13:23Et bonne chance avec votre sable.
13:31Ouais!
13:32Yep, in no time I built a regular San Simeon. But then, everything started to go wrong.
13:42Between Krusty backing through it and beach traffic walking over it, I wasn't getting anywhere.
13:49The worst of all was Junior. He was like ten accidents waiting to happen at once.
13:57All this only proved one thing, that the natural enemy of sandcastles and sandcastle builders has to be baby brothers.
14:05But, I had a simple solution for that.
14:08Hey Junior, come here, I have a special project for you. Think you're up to it?
14:14Yeah, yeah, Junior have to.
14:17Ok, follow me.
14:21Ok, so it wasn't that important. So it was a make work job, so sue me.
14:26Keep digging Junior, don't stop until I tell you, ok? It's very important.
14:32Ok George, I dig, I help.
14:35Alright, what do you say we get back to work Krusty?
15:06Woah, hold your horse power.
15:09What's that?
15:13Wow, eggs.
15:16Sea turtle eggs, dozens of them.
15:19Woah, I think some of these are getting ready to hatch.
15:24This is so cool.
15:27We better rebury these babies before somebody else finds them.
15:31Oh great, look who's back.
15:34Beat it, there's nothing to eat here.
15:38Except maybe a couple dozen turtle eggs on a half shell.
15:42Now what are we going to do?
15:50When I got to the beach that day, I had a lot of fun stuff planned.
15:55But none of it included playing bodyguard to a bunch of eggs.
15:58Those pesky old seagulls weren't going anywhere.
16:01This was seriously cutting into my sand castle construction.
16:05Sun Mama to Beach Boy. Come in Beach Boy, over.
16:09Beach Boy here. What's cooking Sun Mama?
16:12Everything but your father I'm afraid.
16:15How's Junior? Are you two having fun?
16:18There's a flea on a hair on a tail.
16:22There's a flea on a hair on a wart on a frog.
16:27What can I say? Junior really digs the beach.
16:31How about you? How's that sand castle coming along?
16:34Not so good. I kind of hit a little snag.
16:38Or more like a lot of little snags.
16:41Oh, I know what you mean.
16:43Your dad and I are hitting our fair share of sour notes too.
16:47Oh, Daddy. I think I'm getting it, honey.
16:50Wrap your ears around this.
16:53You just hang in there, George.
16:56If we keep trying, we're bound to succeed, right?
17:00Ten-four, Sun Mama. Over and out.
17:03Mom was right. I had to keep trying.
17:06But my goal now was way more important than just slapping together a sand castle.
17:10Now I had twenty or thirty little lives to take care of.
17:18But after a little while and a lot of hard work,
17:21Krusty and I managed to not only camouflage the eggs,
17:24but whip up an even bigger, fitter fort.
17:31A regular sand castle shangri-la.
17:38And a sand castle.
17:41And a sand castle.
17:44Shangri-la.
17:52George, that is amazing.
17:55Outstanding.
17:57That is one jib dandy of a sand castle there, kiddo.
18:01The castle himself couldn't have done better with both eyes on the side of his head crossed.
18:09It's a compliment.
18:11Oh, Junior deserves his fair share of the castle kudos too.
18:16Now, where's our little guy gotten to?
18:19Uh, well, I, uh...
18:25There's a flea on a...
18:27Hello. May I help George?
18:30Come on, George. Come on.
18:35He likes to dig. I let him dig.
18:39Oh!
18:44Built to painstaking perfection by the crew of Shrinks and Associates,
18:48this luxurious Casa by the Sea comes fully equipped with all the comforts of home.
18:55Like running water, central air, a one-hole golf course, and a crabby doorman.
19:03I like the doorman.
19:05Me too. Is that a working drawbridge?
19:09You bet your bugle, Big Daddy. And that's not all.
19:13As far as I know, this is the only castle on this whole beach that comes with its own houseguests.
19:20Hmm.
19:22Oh, my. Are those sea turtle eggs?
19:25Yuppers. About three dozen of them, I figure.
19:29And look, they're about to hatch.
19:32Oh, no.
19:34What's wrong, George? This is wonderful.
19:37Uh-huh. It is. And it kind of isn't. Look.
19:41Uh, isn't that those two lunch moochers from before?
19:45Uh-huh. And now they're back for dinner.
19:48Oh, no.
19:50Oh, yeah. I was hoping they'd lose interest and split after I hid the eggs,
19:54but I guess another free meal is too good to pass up.
19:57Can't we do something?
19:59Well, uh, we can try to keep the gulls away long enough for some of them to reach the water.
20:04Some of them? No, wait, Dad. We have to save all of them.
20:08It may sound impossible, but we have to try.
20:14And I think I may know just how to do it.
20:30Good boy. This is it, huh? You guys are ready to get cracking.
20:35I hope this works.
20:37Beach Boy to Dune Daddy. The joint is jumping.
20:40Ten-four, Beach Boy. Let's get this party started.
21:00Oh, no. Baby turtle.
21:03No, Junior. It's not a turtle.
21:05It's okay. Look closer.
21:16They're taking the bait.
21:18So far, so good. Let's hope it's enough to distract them.
21:21The decoys are away, George.
21:23Time for your men to hit the beach.
21:25Hi-ho, sea turtles. Run away.
21:37Go, turtles. Go.
21:39Go.
21:44Way to go, Georgie-boy.
21:46Go, George.
21:49Uh-oh. Baby turtle.
21:54Oh, no.
21:59George shrinks. You be careful.
22:02Of course.
22:04Yay, George.
22:06Go get him, son.
22:08Be careful, but go get him.
22:19Go pick on somebody your own size.
22:23You can't shake me that easy.
22:25I'm on your tail feathers, pal.
22:39Man, this is no good.
22:43Why, George, I think you've got it.
22:49Thank you.
22:52Hey there, Johnny Livingston.
22:54Come and get your fresh french fries while they're hot.
22:59That's it. Just a bit closer.
23:02Keep coming.
23:04Bombs away.
23:08Yes. All right. He dropped them.
23:11He dropped them. Oh, no.
23:15I got them.
23:19I got them. I got them.
23:23Hooray. George did it.
23:27Bet your mama never told you there'd be days like this.
23:34You better get going, little guy.
23:36Your brothers and sisters will be wondering what happened to you.
23:40See you later. Have a great life.
23:43Play nice with the other turtles.
23:45Bye, turtle. Bye-bye.
23:47You guys should be very proud of yourselves.
23:50What a wonderful thing you did.
23:52Aw, Dad.
23:53No, really. Think about it.
23:55How many kids your age have delivered three dozen babies in one day?
24:00Wow.
24:01Kids?
24:02Yes, kids.
24:04You're right.
24:06Three dozen babies in one day.
24:09Wow.
24:10Yeah, I guess you're right.
24:12You guys didn't want to come to the beach.
24:14I know. I know. I can't complain.
24:17This day sure ended up on a great note.
24:21Especially for me.
24:22And me.
24:23Come quick. You won't believe this.
24:25What? What is it?
24:27Your castle, George.
24:30Look what the tide did to my castle.
24:33It's all wonky and twisted and...
24:36Wonderful.
24:37It is?
24:38Yes. It's given me a great idea for a design.
24:46Whatever floats your boat there, hon.
24:50Quick. Someone hand me another pencil.
25:00Well, sure had a lot of fun that day.
25:02And the weird thing is, I can't remember if Mom's design was chosen or not.
25:07I guess the important thing was that she stuck with it.
25:10We all did.
25:11And you know what? We all learned something that day.
25:14It's like those baby turtles booting it for the sea.
25:18It may seem like everything's stacked against you and that you've got a long way to go.
25:22But if you just keep moving and keep your eye on the prize,
25:26sooner or later you're going to get where you want to be.
25:32To be continued...
26:02To be continued...
