00:00It's understandable that they will comment on the fact that you can't change the status quo of those who are affected.
00:09And of course, those who are affected here are what we call the gold chasers.
00:13Because what you're doing, as the chairperson of the time of the Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs,
00:18is to ensure that our seafarers are protected.
00:22This is exactly why ABP is running.
00:26Because they don't pay attention to our problems.
00:30In fact, right now, there are more than 100 municipalities all over the country that don't have a fire truck.
00:37We also have a lot of barangays that don't have ambulances.
00:41This is one of the things that we want to improve.
00:45There was a time when the majority of the people were there.
00:47But when Aroyo was there, we were the majority.
00:50There was a time when Garcina was there.
00:52There was a time when NBN-CTE was there.
00:54We died because that's how independent the people were.
00:57The same goes for Aquino.
00:59When he was the majority, we were the majority.
01:01But there was a time when we were hit by a car, a duck, a pork barrel.
01:05We died.
01:06That's probably the track record that you expect from us.
01:09Whether we become majority or minority in the House of Representatives,
01:15we will always be independent.
01:17And we will never allow ourselves to be beholden to whoever sits in California.
01:23I'm a very strong man.
01:26And it never moved when I was during my incumbency.
01:30So if you ask me what made me absolutely strong, it's my dream.
01:35I'm a person of knowledge.
01:37How they can allow Filipinos who go through the dark ages to revolt.
01:46I don't want to go back.
01:49I'm a person of knowledge.
01:51The divorce law will free all men.
01:54Not women.
01:56If you ask me what my reaction is, I'm sorry for the women.
02:00Filipinos, we are women and men.
02:03I hope the Senate does not approve it.
02:05And I am talking to all the Senators.
02:08I could.
02:09Senators who are receptive.
02:11Senators who are practicing.
02:14Not to allow themselves to be used by the anti-life forces of the world.
02:20And Filipinos are on double divorce.
02:22For what?
02:24The Philippines is the only country that still has no abortion.
02:29We should be proud that we have known such anti-laws in the past.
