00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is hastening the rehabilitation of Marawi City.

00:20President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered the Office of the Presidential Advisor for Marawi Rehabilitation
00:26to intensify the steps for the rehabilitation of Marawi City.
00:31At a sectoral meeting in the palace,
00:33the President is particularly focusing on the basic needs of the people of Marawi,
00:37including electricity, water, and housing in the city
00:41that was severely affected by the Maute Group's attack in 2017.
00:46He pointed out that the supply of water in the area is very important,
00:49even if the supply of electricity is limited.
00:52The OPAM-R explained that there was a delay in the implementation of the Bulk Water Supply Project
00:57by the Local Water Utilities Administration due to its legality.
01:01It is now being supported by the government and the LWUA has also promised
01:05that the project will be completed before the end of the year.
01:08The President also ordered the OPAM-R to talk to the private landowners in Marawi
01:13to extend the contract to use their land in their homes
01:17for the residents affected by the Marawi siege.

01:27that the private land will be used for five years
01:30while the permanent homes of the residents are being built.

01:37to inform the concerned agencies about the affected energy projects.

01:52of all their projects under the Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop or EVOS
01:57to streamline or speed up the energy project application.
