00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also paid a visit to the residents of Baguio Marse in Cagayan.

00:07The residents are extremely grateful for the President's help.

00:10This is Oliver Bakay of PIA Region 2 for Balitang Pambansa.

00:16Grandmothers Serafina, Perlita, and Nena are residents of Bugay, Cagayan,

00:21as well as those who have experienced the severe cut of Baguio Marse.

00:25They have shared their experiences of the night of the cut of Baguio,

00:30as well as those of their fellowmen who woke up early to find the roof of their homes gone.

00:38Nonetheless, they are still thankful that no one was hurt in their family.

00:44We are thankful to the government for helping us.

00:59We are thankful to the President.

01:05The locals are also thankful for President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s visit

01:11to the province so that he can personally see the cut of Baguio.

01:16President R. Marcos was ordered to rehabilitate damaged government infrastructures

01:23such as schools, roads, and bridges that were damaged due to the storm.

01:28This will be finished in two months.

01:32They are also looking at the design.

01:36For Mayor Lizeria Teporda III of Bugay,

01:39the President's visit to their town is a big deal

01:43because it is what gives hope to the people of Cagayan.

01:46Even though we were hit by a storm, we are still sad and smiling

01:50because the President of the Republic is here.

01:53We are very thankful to the residents of Cagayan

01:58for President R. Marcos' visit to the people affected by the storm.

02:02We can see on their faces the hope of recovery from the storm.
