00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. ordered the speedy rehabilitation of Marawi City,
00:06especially the return of electricity, water, and housing services in the city.

00:17President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. ordered the Office of the Presidential Advisor for Marawi Rehabilitation
00:24to intensify the steps for the reorganization of Marawi City.
00:28At a sectoral meeting in Palacio, the President specifically highlighted the main needs
00:35including electricity, water, and housing in the city
00:39that was severely affected by the Maute Group's attack in 2017.
00:43He pointed out that the water supply in the area is very important even though the electricity supply is limited.
00:49The OPAM-R also explained that there was a delay in the implementation of the Bulk Water Supply Project
00:55by the Local Water Utilities Administration due to its legality.
00:59The government supports it and the LWUA also promised to finish the project before the end of the year.
01:06The President also ordered the OPAM-R to talk to the private landowners in Marawi
01:11to extend the contract to use their land for the residents affected by the Marawi Siege.
01:18The contract was already passed in the previous administration.
01:22The agreement was included in the contract that the private land will be used for five years
01:27while the permanent residences of the residents will be built.
01:31The Executive Board of the Department of Energy also ordered to inform the concerned agencies
01:37about the affected energy projects.
01:40This is to speed up the process of issuing permits.
01:44It also ordered the DOE to speed up the integration of application and permitting processes
01:49of all their projects under the Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop or EVOS
01:55to streamline or speed up the energy project application.
01:59According to the PCO, 56 energy-related processes out of 103 were integrated in EVOS
02:05since the project was rolled out in 2020.
