00:00Pinoy Chariathlete Andrew Kim Remolino is planning to participate in the following competitions

00:07so that he can win a gold medal for his country in the Southeast Asian Games next year.

00:18The two-time Southeast Asian Games silver medalist Andrew Kim Remolino

00:22has never participated in the local and international competitions

00:26so that he can ensure that he can win a gold medal in the upcoming 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand.

00:35Remolino won the Men's Elite category in the event of the 2024 Perak Triathlon in Malaysia in June

00:41and the 2024 Trifactor Triathlon in Singapore in July.

00:45He also won the TWM Triathlon in August in Cebu

00:49where he was the overall champion in the men's division.

00:53Remolino defended his title as the Men's Elite category champion in the National Age Group Aquathlon in Cavite.

01:01As of now, I'm really eyeing for the 2025 SEA Games.

01:05Hopefully, I can qualify since the start of the qualifier is next year.

01:08We have to work more since other countries are getting closer.

01:13So, hopefully, we can continue to improve.

01:17Remolino defended why he needs to push himself to participate in competitions

01:23where training is also beneficial for him.

01:26I think I have to work on maintaining a higher pace.

01:29Especially for the upcoming 2025 SEA Games, that's what we're preparing for.

01:35So, I'm just continuing my training so that I can have better times.

01:41Remolino has won three more competitions this year

01:45such as the Asian Triathlon Cup in Hong Kong,

01:47Trifactor Triathlon event in Vietnam,

01:49and another local triathlon race in Cebu.
