00:00R.I.P. Tools for Tubes and Presses from 1896 We present the Universal UPC Tube Cutter
00:07designed by R.I.P. The UPC is lightweight, cuts quickly and requires a space of only
00:1412 inches around the tube. It provides a straight cut, can be operated under water and the same
00:20lubricating and cooling tool. It is also extremely safe, as the blade is covered,
00:25works at low revolutions per minute and does not need electricity. It is called Universal
00:30because it can cut ductile or melted iron pipes, grease, steel, concrete coating,
00:36PVC or polyethylene, as well as pipes up to 48 inches. To use it, place the chains,
00:42the clamping pin and the connecting structures around the tube you want to cut. The number of
00:48necessary chains and connecting structures will depend on the diameter of the pipe.
00:52Then place the cutting blade on the tool, making sure it corresponds to the material of the
00:57tube you want to cut. Then connect the air compressor to the UPC through the hose,
01:02using the lubricating filter to regulate the air pressure. Then open the valve.
01:08Fill the water tank three-quarters with clean water and pump the envelope from top to bottom
01:12until it hardens. Then connect the pressurized water tank with the UPC through a hose.
01:18The water will help cool the blade during the cut. Finally, open the UPC motor valve,
01:24which will run the tool. Place the blade in contact with the pipe and turn the UPC
01:29using the mobile handle in the direction indicated by the arrow on the motor. Continue this process
01:33until the tube is completely cut. An original RID tool.
