00:04It's still early in the morning, and the line for this restaurant is already a blockbuster.

00:08Who wouldn't want to try their specialty?

00:14Sinog, or Sinangag at Iklo.

00:17Just like corned beef sinog and pork sinog.

00:21But this restaurant is not in the Philippines.

00:23It's in Washington, USA.

00:26Welcome to Rudy's Restaurant.

00:31It's like home away from home.

00:34Because of the Filipino foods that they serve,

00:37kare-kare, lumpia, and other Filipino foods are also a certified hit.

00:43Even in other races.

00:45Actually, it's not just Americans.

00:47We also have Indians, Nepalese, and some of them are from Europe.

00:54So it's nice that they like Filipino food.

00:57Filipino food is so good. The culture is so great.

01:00And so, the more that people know about it, the better.

01:03Amazing. Really amazing.

01:05The meat is super tender. Really, really tasteful.

01:07The rice is perfectly cooked.

01:09But the garlic, like, unreal.

01:11First time.

01:12Lumpia.

01:14And I want to come back for the lechon kawai.

01:22Of course, you can't leave out the panhimagas,

01:25like the ube pancake.

01:27It's amazing. Like, that is first grade.

01:30The owner is really nice.

01:32And I've had this fancy loaf of the ube pancakes,

01:34and it's just so good.

01:38The owner of the restaurant is a Filipino,

01:40Gregorio Rosas, or Tito Greg.

01:43I don't have a mother. I don't have a father.

01:45So I raised Rudy, who has a karenderya.

01:51Tito Greg started as a dishwasher and houseboy in a diner

01:56until the owner saw that he has potential in cooking.

02:00Because of his hard work and honesty,

02:02Greg was given the position of the restaurant.

02:06In 2008, he collected everything that was left in America

02:11and built the Ludis Restaurant.

02:14He was known for teaching him how to cook

02:17and he was blessed to return to the Philippines.

02:20You love what you're doing.

02:22And be genuine to yourself.

02:25Because people will see that

02:27when they know, they'll feel that you're very welcoming.
