00:12Oh, holy s***. Yeah. Jeez, look at the size of him. That thing would inhale a chicken.

00:17You've called us at the right time, Royce.

00:20Olivia and Stu have found the carpet python that was looking for an easy lunch.

00:26Oh, okay.

00:29So, he's in a bit of a sticky spot at the moment. With trees like this, there's so many branches he can latch onto and it becomes quite difficult to get him down.

00:39So, even if we get ourselves into a good position to grab him, what's to stop him from latching on two or three different branches on his way down?

00:45So, this is definitely one of the more difficult ones.

00:56Over here and he's actually just started getting comfortable for the afternoon.

01:00Carpet pythons are ambush predators, preferring to sit and wait for their prey to come within striking distance.

01:10They're usually nocturnal, but during the breeding season, these pythons are known to roam during the day and night in search of a mate.

01:19I have a hook if you need it.

01:21I'm going to probably grab this and pass it down to you.

01:25Oh, he's holding on to this bloody tree now.

01:30Jeez, he's big. Far out.

01:33Back end of the tail is definitely holding on.

01:36He's just anchored himself in this tree.

01:40As soon as they get their head around like that, you don't want to pull too hard because it can literally injure them pretty bad.

01:46Alright, his head's just hooked around one last little branch.

01:51He's got some length to him.

01:53Bag's right here when you're ready.

01:55Just bear with me for two seconds.

01:59He's proper staring me down. I don't know what he wants to do.

02:33Which you don't see that often.

02:34Like often they're just like a mottled sort of blotchy spots everywhere.
