00:00In Lebanon, at least 28 health workers were killed by Israeli bombardments in the last
00:0524 hours.
00:06The information was shared on Thursday by the World Health Organization, which also
00:11warned that medical assistance in the country remains under threat.
00:15The International Body stressed that the Lebanese health system keeps deteriorating, which risks
00:21its operability and hinders the delivery of aid.
00:24In this context, it is worth highlighting that, as reported by the United Nations Office
00:30for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, since October 2023, 73 health workers have
00:37been killed in Lebanon in the midst of the Zionist regime's aggression.
00:45On Friday, the Foreign Minister of Iran, Sayed Abbas Araghishi, met with the Lebanese Speaker
00:51of Parliament Najib Mikati in Beirut.
00:54On the encounter, Araghishi reaffirmed that Iran backs up the Lebanese efforts to confront
00:59the Israeli offensive.
01:01The Iranian diplomat assured that his official visit to Lebanon, despite the harsh war crisis,
01:06is proof that his country supports the Hezbollah resistance movement.
01:10The authority asserted that the Iranian response to Israel was in a legitimate defense, as
01:16their embassy to Damascus had previously been hit.
01:19The minister granted that his government did not plan to go in on the offensive unless
01:25Israel strikes Iran, adding the nation seeks a ceasefire.
01:34My presence in Beirut in this difficult situation, while the Zionist regime is bombarding every
01:39night and every moment, is the best sign that the Islamic Republic of Iran will always be
01:44firmly behind Hezbollah and will continue to support the Lebanese Shiites and the Lebanese
01:49people.
01:52This attack was self-defense, a legitimate self-defense based on the principles of the
01:57United Nations Charter.
01:59Unlike Israel, which attacks civilian targets in the homes of people, women, and children,
02:04we only attack the military and security centers of that regime.
