जयपुर: राजस्थान की राजधानी जयपुर के शास्त्री नगर इलाके में एक प्रेरणादायक स्वच्छता क्रांति देखने को मिल रही है, जिसका नेतृत्व महिला नेत्रियों के एक समर्पित समूह ने किया है। मनबरी देवी, केसरी बुनकर, सावित्री योगी और अन्य महिलाओं ने अपने प्रयासों से यह साबित कर दिया कि असली बदलाव जमीनी स्तर से ही शुरू होता है। कई वर्षों से इस इलाके के सैकड़ों परिवार अपर्याप्त स्वच्छता सुविधाओं से जूझ रहे थे, जिनमें सीवर कनेक्शन की कमी और सामुदायिक शौचालयों की खराब स्थिति, पार्क का रखरखाव प्रमुख चुनौतियां थीं, जिसका खामियाजा विशेष रूप से महिलाओं को भुगतना पड़ रहा था। महिलाओं के इस समूह ने इन समस्याओं को हल करने का बीड़ा उठाया और सामुदायिक प्रबंधन समिति (सीएमसी) और सिंगल विंडो फोरम का गठन किया। मछुआरों, कचरा बीनने वालों और गृहिणियों जैसी पृष्ठभूमि से आने वाली इन महिलाओं ने स्वच्छता संचालन और स्वच्छ भारत मिशन के दिशा-निर्देशों पर औपचारिक प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया। इसके बाद उन्होंने पूरे समुदाय को जागरूक किया और एक स्थायी स्वच्छता मॉडल तैयार किया। इसके साथ ही, महिलाओं ने सामुदायिक शौचालयों के रखरखाव की जिम्मेदारी भी ली। शास्त्री नगर की महिलाओं के इस प्रयास ने राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर एक मिसाल कायम की है, जो स्वच्छता की दिशा में महिलाओं की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका और उनके समर्पण को दर्शाता है।
