00:00Here's a word for this noisy, self-centered generation.
00:06Be still, Psalms 46 verse 10, be still and know that I am God and I will be exalted among
00:15the heathen and I will be exalted in the earth.
00:18A lot of chatter, noise, and speaking doesn't necessarily mean God is with you.
00:25God is one who enjoys silence.
00:28That's why the Bible says in heaven, in Revelation chapter 8 verse 1, there's silence for the
00:34space of half an hour.
00:35Jesus often times departed from the multitudes to be alone with God and went to mountaintops
00:42to get away from people.
00:44In Isaiah 30 verse 15 the Bible says, Thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel,
00:48in returning and rest shall you be saved.
00:52In quietness and confidence shall be your strength, but you would not.
00:56So renewal often times comes from a place of peace and quietness and rest and confidence
01:03where you rest in the Lord.
01:04The Bible says there is a rest that remains to the people of God.
01:08That's in Hebrews chapter 4.
01:10So be encouraged.
01:11I speak peace to every storm that's raging, many of which are just happening and raging
01:16internally within people and they are being tossed to and fro to emotional turbulence
01:22and feeling that they have to always be busy.
01:25But busyness is not necessarily spirituality, nor does busyness always accomplish progress
01:32or forward advancement.
01:33So be mindful of what the Holy Spirit has shown you to do.
01:37Do that and don't be overly burdened and encumbered and entangled with other things that other
01:42people want to put upon you and pace yourself.
01:46You don't have to do everything in one day.
01:48Yes, the Bible says that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, but it
01:51doesn't say we have to do them all in one day.
01:54So be at peace, trust in the living God, take steps daily, and move in the order and
02:02the spirit and the flow and the peace that passes understanding in Christ Jesus.
02:07And be blessed, my friend, as you do.
