00:00Bees! And grass! How can anybody not enjoy this?
00:05Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
00:07Summer is here!
00:09With its grass and fruits and more grass!
00:15This is Ragoo.
00:17Ragoo is a grasshopper who loves to sing and to play and to do nothing but lie around.
00:24He loves summer and the green grass.
00:27Ragoo is a happy grasshopper.
00:31Oh, how I love the summer!
00:34The fresh smell of grass, the fruits, the walking fruits.
00:38Wait, what? Why is the fruit walking?
00:42Ragoo was scared.
00:44He cautiously crept towards the walking fruit.
00:51Fruit? Tell me, who you are?
00:56A ghost? Magic?
01:01The fruit kept coming towards Ragoo.
01:04Slowly sliding against the green ground.
01:08Then suddenly...
01:10Help! Help! The fruit is running towards me!
01:14Help! The fruit is attacking me!
01:19Wait, what is that noise?
01:22As Ragoo listened closely, he heard some voices giggling.
01:27And there it was, a dozen ants right under the fruit.
01:40Help! Help! The fruit is attacking me!
01:46Are you afraid of a fruit, Ragoo?
01:52I wasn't afraid. Don't you know, I am a grasshopper.
01:56I am supposed to be running and hopping.
02:02Ah, yes, Mr. Ragoo. Are you sure the fruit didn't scare you?
02:10Oh, please. Hopping is my job, you silly ants.
02:15Just like your job is to get a dozen ants just to carry one fruit.
02:22Oh, I am big and mighty.
02:25I don't need anybody's assistance to carry a fruit.
02:29Do you tiny ones need help to finish the fruit?
02:33Very funny, Ragoo.
02:35But we are not carrying this fruit to eat.
02:38We are collecting. Look there!
02:42And collecting they were.
02:44As the ant pointed out, Ragoo saw more than a dozen ants
02:49walking in lines towards a big hole in the ground.
02:53They carried tomatoes, berries, corn, and also baby carrots.
02:59Every ant would drop some food in the hole and return to help others.
03:05The lines of food were endless. Ragoo was now curious.
03:10What are you all doing?
03:12Why are you dropping the food in the ground?
03:15Have the fruits gone bad?
03:17Oh, no, not at all.
03:19We are storing food.
03:21Soon the summer will be gone and winter will be upon us.
03:24The fruits and leaves will be gone.
03:27We have to be prepared for that or else we will starve.
03:33Ragoo, you must store food too.
03:36All these fruits and the green grass will be gone soon.
03:41Oh, you are all so tiny.
03:43That's why you need a whole season to collect and store food.
03:47I will do it in a matter of days.
03:50Till then I will enjoy the breeze and laze around the river.
03:57The ants knew that Ragoo is making a mistake.
04:00But they also knew that Ragoo will not listen to them.
04:05They wished him well and carried on with their work.
04:08What silly creatures.
04:11They are missing out on the season.
04:14Winter doesn't end the world.
04:16Surely we won't die.
04:18There will definitely be something to eat.
04:21Why worry about tomorrow?
04:25Ragoo paid no attention to the ants' advice.
04:28He hopped and skipped the whole day and chewed on the fresh grass.
04:33He lazed on the river and whistled carelessly.
04:37Weeks passed and Ragoo grew fatter.
04:40One day, as he was lying on the thick layer of grass,
04:44he saw a long line of ants carrying twigs and leaves.
04:50What is this?
04:52Where are you taking these leaves and twigs?
04:55We are taking this to keep us comfortable during the winter.
04:59You must collect too, Ragoo.
05:01Winter will be very cold.
05:03Winters are always cold, you silly.
05:06You are so many.
05:08That's why you have to work so hard.
05:11I am just me.
05:13I will surely find something.
05:17The ant knew that Ragoo will not listen to her.
05:20She turned to leave.
05:22Just then…
05:25Ouch! My leg!
05:28Oh! What a mess!
05:31Oh! What happened? Are you okay?
05:34Oh! My leg hurts.
05:36I can't walk now.
05:38Oh! Come. We will take you home.
05:41No. Home is far away now.
05:44And you all have twigs to carry.
05:48That's fine.
05:50You can sit on my back and I will fly you to your home.
05:53Oh! Really?
05:55You will do that?
05:57Oh! Why not?
05:59Come on now.
06:01Ragoo flew away with the ant on his back.
06:04The ant had never felt so happy.
06:07She saw the green lands, the waterfalls and the rivers.
06:12She felt the breeze on her face.
06:14As they reached home, Ragoo saw at least a hundred ants
06:19bringing leaves and throwing them into a big hole.
06:23Ragoo was surprised.
06:26He sat down and the baby ant slid down his back.
06:32Thank you, Mr. Ragoo.
06:34Okay, baby ant.
06:36Hope you enjoyed your ride.
06:38Off you go.
06:40Take care of your leg.
06:43Hello, Ragoo.
06:44Have you begun your collection of food and leaves?
06:47Where will you live in the winter?
06:49Oh! I am big and mighty.
06:51I will find something when the winter comes.
06:54Why worry about tomorrow?
06:57Days passed and the summer was ready to leave.
07:00Trees started to shed their leaves
07:03and grass had begun to change its color.
07:06And Ragoo was growing fatter each day.
07:10He lazed around the water on a dry leaf,
07:13looking at the bright sky,
07:15eating the little green leaves that were left.
07:19I don't see any ants anymore.
07:22Maybe they finally took my advice
07:24and decided to enjoy the season.
07:27Whatever is left of it anyway.
07:29They have missed out on a lot.
07:34And then winter came.
07:36Snow had covered the whole ground.
07:39Gone were the green grass and the ripe fruits.
07:43Ragoo searched and searched for a single green leaf
07:47but could not find any.
07:49He searched for a warm place
07:51but snow had built layers and layers upon the warm ground.
07:55Weeks passed and Ragoo grew thinner
07:58and weaker with each day.
08:00He had no shelter and no food.
08:03He then remembered that the ants had taken
08:06a lot of food and twigs under the ground.
08:09He found the place and knocked on their door.
08:15Can anybody hear me?
08:17Who is it?
08:19Oh, Ragoo!
08:21What happened to you?
08:23It's cold out here.
08:25I'm hungry.
08:27Do you have any shelter and food for me?
08:31Oh, but winters are always cold, you silly.
08:35Aren't you the one who had laughed at me once and said this?
08:39You were the one who kept saying,
08:41why worry about tomorrow?
08:43What happened now?
08:45I understand my mistake.
08:48I should have prepared for winter.
08:50Please, give me some food.
08:53Listening to all the commotion,
08:55the queen and other ants came out of the hole.
08:59We all have our share of the food.
09:01Even if we give you some food,
09:03you cannot come down here and live.
09:05This place is not big enough.
09:08But I…
09:11Oh, what happened to you?
09:14Ragoo had collapsed on the ground with a thud.
09:17Oh no, we have to save him.
09:19He will starve.
09:21After all, he did help me once when I had injured my leg.
09:26The ant narrated the incident to the queen.
09:29She explained how Ragoo had helped her when she was a baby.
09:34Hmm…
09:36Bring out some leaves and wrap him up.
09:39Let's quickly build a small house for him from the twigs we have.
09:43It will keep him warm.
09:45We have enough food.
09:47We can share it with him.
09:50The ants wrapped up Ragoo in some leaves to keep him warm.
09:54They brilliantly built a house from twigs and carried Ragoo inside it.
09:59They fed him hot soup and some fruits.
10:02Soon, Ragoo was back on his feet.
10:06Thank you, your highness.
10:08Thank you for saving me.
10:10I owe you my life.
10:12You are a nice insect, Ragoo.
10:15You helped a member of my group.
10:18We will help you for this winter.
10:20But remember, always be prepared for the future.
10:25I know it now, your highness.
10:27You should not worry.
10:29But always be prepared for tomorrow.
10:32Never be lazy.
