00:00Some government employees are asking if there is a possibility of civil service eligibility for the workers of Job Order and Contract of Service

00:10even if they did not pass their civil service exams.

00:13There is a new investigation that we will share now in our CSC in Action.

00:26Good day Philippines!

00:27We are now given a chance to answer your questions on the programs and policies of the Civil Service Commission.

00:35I am Chairperson Carlo Nograles for CSC in Action.

00:41A new police was released by the Civil Service Commission

00:44that is giving a chance for job order, contract of service workers and other qualified government employees to have civil service eligibility.

00:56According to CSC Resolution No. 2301123

01:00that became effective last February,

01:04Job Order, Contract of Service, Casual, Contractual, Co-Terminus employees in Category 3 and 4 positions

01:14and Career Service Employees with First Level Eligibility

01:19or collectively called JCOS C6 workers

01:23may apply for the Career Service Eligibility Preference Rating or CSE-PR.

01:31Under the policy of CSE-PR,

01:34a JCOS C6 worker who got a Career Service Examination and used a low rating of less than 70 points

01:44may apply for CSE-PR to get additional points to reach the passing rate of 80.

01:52Up to 10 is the highest point that can be given.

01:57For example, there is a J.O. who got a 75 failed rating in the March 3 exam and was granted CSE-PR.

02:07He will add 5 points to his rating to become 80.

02:12To qualify for the grant of CSE-PR,

02:16a JCOS C6 worker must currently serve in one or multiple government agencies

02:26within less than 10 years and have a Very Satisfactory Performance Rating

02:33in the last two available rating periods before the application.

02:38It should also be noted that the failed rating was obtained in the March 3, 2024 Career Service Exam.

02:47Just a reminder that the previous exams before the March 3, 2024 exam are not included.

02:55It is also necessary to file within 6 months of the release of the results of the Career Service Exam.

03:04Based on the resolution, the grant of CSE-PR can only be available once.

03:11Not only us, many JCOS C6 workers have a hard time obtaining Civil Service Eligibility,

03:19which is one of the requirements to apply for a regular position or promotion in government agencies.

03:27That is why CSE-PR is a way for the JCOS C6 workers to know the importance of CSE-PR

03:36in the proper and effective distribution of public service.
