Le Dolci Zie is a 1975 Italian commedia sexy all’italiana film written and directed by Mario Imperoli. The movie follows the story of young Libero, who loses his parents and is taken in by his disreputable atheist grandfather. However, the court decides that until he comes of age, Libero must be raised by his three unmarried aunts, who are known for their impeccable morals.

The aunts, played by Pascale Petit, Femi Benussi, and Marisa Merlini, are initially depicted as devout virgins, but as they interact with Libero, they begin to arouse his masculinity. The eldest sister has given up hope of finding a husband, while the two younger sisters are excited by the handsome newcomer and make a great fuss over him.

The film explores themes of sexuality, morality, and family dynamics in 1970s Italy. With its blend of comedy, drama, and eroticism, Le Dolci Zie is a representative example of the commedia sexy all’italiana genre.
