00:00This low-pressure area is located in the West Philippine Sea, currently located at a distance of 165 kilometers west-northwest of Corona, Palawan.
00:13Based on our data and analysis of our low-pressure area, the chance of this being a storm is low.
00:22This LPA is inside the ITCZ or Intertropical Convergence Zone.
00:28This ITCZ is affected by a large portion of our country.
00:34Meanwhile, you will notice that there is a storm outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:41At present, it is a tropical depression located at a distance of 2,540 kilometers east of the extreme northern zone.
00:52The strong wind near its center can reach up to 55 kilometers per hour.
00:59This is a large portion of our Philippine Area of Responsibility because we expect this to be a tropical depression.
01:09At this time of the day, the sky is cloudy and we expect heavy rains and thunderstorms in Batangas, Quezon, Laguna, Rizal, Mimaropa, and Bicol Region.
01:28Meanwhile, this is a large portion of Luzon and Metro Manila, as well as the whole of Visayas and Mindanao,
01:39will be partly cloudy until the sky is cloudy except for isolated rains or thunderstorms.
01:50There is no warning because we expect that the storm will reach up to 3 meters.
02:00Therefore, it is safe for our countrymen, especially those who use small sea vehicles.
