00:00when you think about it as a as a passer, right? So this guy
00:02can drop back in the pocket. He can read defenses. He can
00:05deliver the football but then you tag the RPO game to it so
00:08it almost makes the defense can't be right. So, if you
00:11come up, he can pull the ball and throw the throw the deep
00:13glance routes behind you. He can throw the slants behind
00:16you. If you come up, if you come up field too much, he can
00:19go underneath and and the best thing that he has happening
00:23right now is Brian Robertson and and Ackler. They're
00:26actually running the football. They're not just dropping back
00:29forty, fifty times a game and just saying, hey, you know,
00:32we're just gonna put the ball in the air. They have a well
00:34balanced attack and involved in that is his rushing. Like, I
00:39remember the first game, everyone's in the upper bow. He
00:40ran the ball sixteen times against Tampa. I said, I don't
00:43know, sixteen runs. It wasn't designed runs. You know, a lot
00:46of it was he was scrambling up in the pocket. He saw
00:48something. He went and got positive yards and that's what
00:51he's very smart at. He has a 77% completion percentage right
00:54now and you know, which is awesome in the NFL after
00:58breaking a record at 82% of the first four games but right now,
01:01he's the only thousand-yard passing 250-yard rusher within
01:05the first four weeks of the season, four or five weeks of
01:07the season. Think about the guys that come through Vic,
01:10Lamar, all these guys is they're a dynamic quarterback.
01:13So, it tells me, I remember someone said something a couple
01:15weeks ago to kind of disturb me. He said, well, he's running a
01:18college offense. It doesn't matter what kind of offense
01:21you're running. If it fits your quarterback, that would disturb
01:23me back in the day was they try to make you fit the system of
01:27what, you know, coordinators wanted to do instead of doing
01:29the system around what the quarterback does best. That's
01:31why Lamar is able to win multiple MVPs. That's why
01:34Jayden is in conversation right now is because they built the
01:37offense as to what these guys do well. Don't put a Ferrari in
01:41the garage and never use it. Hey, you know, like that's what
01:46Clint Kingsbury is doing. He's using it. He said, hey, yeah,
01:48I'm gonna make you have to defend every area of the
01:51football field and for Dan Quinn and Bobby Wagner, they've seen
01:54this before. Russell Wilson, he was a rookie at Seattle. So,
01:58you put that with a great defense and a young rookie
02:00quarterback that doesn't turn the ball over consistently. It
02:05gives you an opportunity to win. You know what kills me? I hear
02:08this college quarterback crap. That's such a good one. And I
02:11wanna use some foul language but I can't do it. How the hell
02:16do they think Tom Brady ran? Tom Brady ran the spread
02:19offense. That's a college offense, right? Right. Okay.
02:22What does my man up there in Buffalo runs? Same thing that
02:26Jayden is running. All these other quarterbacks run the same
02:29thing but when Jayden does it and other people, not always a
02:33college offense, get off of it. You know, it's like, you can't
02:36just give credit to the quarterback. You know, it's
02:39been a fight for the longest. He, right now, they're doing a
02:41thing to evolution of the quarterback. Him, Mike, Vic,
02:44Doug, all these guys. Why every time someone becomes
02:48successful, they wanna find a way to knock it. That's what
02:51Tom did. Right. That's what Aaron Rodgers does all the
02:53time. The thing is, yeah, the thing is, we live in a
02:58society where people have to build somebody up. They gotta
03:01tear somebody down and instead of just being excited about the
03:05person having the opportunity because everyone, when you come
03:08through different franchises in different eras at different
03:11times and you know, fortunate enough when Jayden's coming
03:14through here, it's not a new ownership. It's under new
03:16opportunities. You gotta experience head coach. You have
03:19you know, guys that are just, you know, willing to buy into
03:22what they're trying to do and and that stuff takes time but
03:25everyone's gotta be willing to buy in but you don't have to
03:29build Jayden up to tear down everybody else or you don't
03:31have to tear down Jayden to build up, you know, you know,
03:34other players like Mahomes runs a different offense. You know,
03:37when Andre said this, Andre said, when he was with me now
03:39but he was with some of the other guys, he tailored his
03:42offense to what those guys did well and he got with Mahomes.
03:45He said, Mahomes had a bigger arm. So, he said, I'm gonna
03:48tailor the ball to going down the field a little bit more
03:50instead of just staying true to the true west coast which is
03:52the slants that they curl routes and all the digs and
03:55those things. He thought pushing the ball further down
03:57the field. So, great coaches adapt to their great athletes.
