00:00The only problem with Big Ten basketball is, uh, the last time they won a NCAA championship
00:09was before Christ and, uh, you wrote about it and Tom Izzo talked about it and you're
00:16both right.
00:17I mean, it is really embarrassing and I got to tell you, you know, you got problems in
00:21that conference when the most exciting thing going in the Big Ten is my Indiana Hoosiers
00:26gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang, gang,
00:31six and oh, scoring 40 plus points a week.
00:34Your boy Cignetti getting it all accomplished in Bloomington.
00:39Well, Scott, as we can attest, the present company included.
00:42If you want something done, right, you got to get a Pittsburgh or that it's all right.
00:47It's quite obvious.
00:48Uh, Kurt Cignetti has done a magnificent job in energizing a program that's had very few
00:55moments of excitement in its history.
00:57Really.
00:58They had some nice moments under Lee Corso.
01:00They had that one terrific season under Tom Allen in 2020 during the pandemic year, uh,
01:06when Michael Pennix was their quarterback.
01:09But this is really, this is really something to see.
01:11And they've got a week now to prepare for Nebraska, which I've always viewed as a pivotal
01:17game for them.
01:19It's a home game.
01:20Should be a great crowd.
01:22It's a great opportunity for the Hoosiers.
01:25And if they get it, uh, then they'll be talking about it.
01:29Not just the silly ranking stuff that we're talking about now, but like some serious possibilities.
01:34I mean, they still have to play Michigan and they have to play Ohio state, et cetera.
01:39Uh, but there, if they can get Nebraska at home, they have real possibilities of having
01:45a significant season, not just bowl eligibility and we get to go play in Shreveport or whatever.
01:51No, we're talking about maybe them playing some serious games in December and January.
