00:00Happy Thursday to all of us, I am Benison Estareja.
00:05The northeasterly wind flow continues to blow from the northeastern ocean
00:10which brings some cold temperatures there,
00:13and there are some weak and sometimes strong rains.
00:16While in the remaining part of our country,
00:19there are still localized thunderstorms that can be experienced.
00:22And based on our latest satellite animation,
00:25aside from the cloud clusters in the east of our country
00:28up to the Pacific Ocean, we do not see any new weather disturbance
00:32whether it is a low-pressure area or a storm
00:34that will enter our Philippine Area of Responsibility until the weekend ends.
00:40Today, the weather is expected to be rainy here in Northern Luzon,
00:43especially in Batanes, Apayao, and Cagayan
00:46because of the northeasterly wind flow.
00:49We have weak and sometimes strong rains,
00:51so be careful of flooding and landslides.
00:55In the remaining part of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Region plus Ilocos Region,
00:59before noon, there is a high chance of rain.
01:02So make sure that we have an umbrella or a raincoat
01:06and be careful of flooding and landslides.
01:09While in the remaining part of Luzon, including Metro Manila,
01:12there is still a part that is cloudy and sometimes cloudy sky in the morning.
01:16And before noon, there are areas here in Central Luzon
01:19that will also have isolated rain showers.
01:22Thunderstorms are possible over most of Luzon
01:25when it reaches noon to night.
01:27Our temperature in Metro Manila is from 25 to 32 degrees,
01:31while in Baguio, it cools down from 17 to 22 degrees Celsius.
01:37For our fellowmen in Palawan,
01:39they will experience fair weather conditions there
01:42that will only be accompanied by heavy rains and landslides.
01:46While here in the central and eastern portions of Visayas,
01:50there are areas that will have localized thunderstorms
01:53from morning to noon.
01:55Then when it reaches noon to night,
01:57a large part of Visayas will also have rains and thunderstorms
02:01regardless of weather disturbance.
02:04Our temperature in Metro Cebu is possible to rise to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:09And for our fellowmen in Mindanao,
02:11there are many areas this morning that will have fair weather conditions
02:15or usually sunny weather.
02:17Then when it reaches noon, expect the hottest temperature
02:20to be between 32 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:23Then when it reaches noon to night, it will be gloomy weather
02:27and the chances of localized thunderstorms
02:30or landslides that last for two to three hours.
02:34Our temperature in Mizambuanga City and Davao City
02:37is also up to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:40Today and for the next few days,
02:42we will not experience any gale warning
02:44or high winds.
02:46It is expected that for most of our country,
02:49if there are thunderstorms, it is still possible to rise to 2.5 meters.
02:53While here in Northern Luzon,
02:55over the weekend,
02:56it is possible to have moderate to rough seas
02:58or 1 to 2.5 meters high winds.
03:02And for the next three days or until the weekend,
03:05there will still be northeasterly wind flow
03:08from the northeastern coast.
03:10And for those who are asking
03:11when will this northeast monsoon return,
03:14it is possible by the third or fourth week of October.
03:17And our fellow citizens here in Northern Luzon
03:20will experience this.
03:21Then for the remaining part of Luzon,
03:23it is possible for our northeast monsoon
03:25by late November until December.
