00:00The right process of promotion for the police as well as the reforms that will be implemented by the new DILG Secretary John Vic Remulia, Patrick De Jesus, in detail.

00:15The new DILG Secretary John Vic Remulia proposed the strengthening of the system in the Philippine National Police.

00:23This is part of the structural reform that will be implemented by the DILG Secretary John Vic Remulia.

00:28It should be a credential based on the promotion of a police officer.

00:32I want to remove the politics from the PNP. I want to make it a merit-based system, who gets promoted and who doesn't.

00:42What's happening now is the violence, right? And I've tried my best in my province that there's no violence there.

00:50And I want to institute that in the Philippines.

00:52The PNP will discuss this with Remulia, but there's already a policy for the right promotion of the police.

01:00There's a scheduled command conference next week. If this can be discussed, I'm sure the PNP will show that there are transfer and movements,

01:12particularly in recent days, as an option for the next retirement of our senior officers.

01:19Meanwhile, Remulia confirmed that in December 15, the Pogo Hubs in Island Cove, Cavite will be closed.

01:26She will be the one to padlock so that this operation can be stopped.

01:31According to the President's Directive, all Pogo Hubs in the country will be closed until the end of the year.

01:38The former owner of the Remulia family owns Island Cove.
