00:15Wong expressed concern for the lack of due process in the case, adding that it was obvious

00:24It was previously reported that Ng, who worked as a domestic helper in Malaysia, was deported

00:29for allegedly criticizing Cambodia's former leader, Hun Sen, on social media.

00:40Wong said he would engage Selayang MP William Leong, who is the chairman of the Parliamentary

00:44Committee on Human Rights, Election and Institutional Reform, to initiate a hearing in November

00:49or December.

00:51He said he would also enlist the help of Bukit Bindera MP Sherlina Abdul Rashid, who chairs

00:56the all-party parliamentary group Malaysia on Refugee Policies.
