The Courier's Greg Gliddon looks at the Ballarat Cricket Association's round one matches.

00:00Welcome back to a brand new Ballarat Cricket Association season.

00:04I'm Greg Glidden from the Ballarat Courier and we'll take you through all the games for round one.

00:08The blockbusters keep coming straight away in round one.

00:11You've got Wendaree up against Ballarat Redan.

00:14The Red Caps of course missing out on the finals last season.

00:17Ballarat Redan the minor premiers.

00:19So we're going to have a really close match with that one.

00:21The other blockbuster is down at Daly Park.

00:24Daly's got on a new recruiting drive this season.

00:27You've got Nathan Yates and Jared Burns

00:29and they'll be both up there against Mount Clear this week.

00:32You've also got the reigning premiers playing up against,

00:35East Ballarat playing up against Brownhill.

00:38And of course the game that I think a lot of people are excited about

00:41is the clash between Napsabass and Bunningong.

00:44These two teams of course were 9th and 10th last season.

00:47But who knows what they're going to bring this year.

00:49Bunningong has been on a massive recruiting drive in the off-season.

00:52They look like they're going to be a pretty strong side.

00:54The other match of course is the clash between Golden Point and Backers Marsh.

00:58A brand new looking Backers Marsh as well.

01:00They've had about 7 or 8 players head off to different places.

01:02So we'll see what happens.

01:04Can Golden Point continue that form they showed last season.
