00:00Welcome to the Ballarat Football Netball League preview for Round 17. I'm Greg
00:04Glidden from the Ballarat Courier and another big week it has been in football
00:08across the region. Obviously with the big story this morning of that Brendan
00:12McCartney is going to resign as the coach of North Ballarat after four years.
00:17McCartney obviously has a big finals campaign with the Roosters ahead. They've
00:22got a big match this weekend up against Redan but they actually have the bye
00:25next week so this is their final game of the season. They need to find some form,
00:28they need to get back into some winning form and hopefully for their sake they
00:33were able to do that this week against Redan but I don't think it'll be an easy
00:36game although I am tipping the Roosters. The other big game of the round is the
00:40clash between Sunbury and East Point. We know what East Point do every week, we
00:44have no idea what Sunbury do every week so we're hoping that Sunbury can
00:47actually show us a little bit. Ten goal loss to Darley last week was not ideal.
00:52This week against East Point it's going to be another really tough game. It is at
00:55Clark Oval but I expect that East Point will get the job done. The other three
00:59games don't have much bearing on the finals. I expect Melton to get over the
01:02top of the Lakers, I expect Ballarat to get over the top of Melton South and I
01:06expect Darley to continue on their great form and get a win over Bacchus Marsh.
01:11Whatever you do this weekend enjoy your football and make sure
01:14you log on to The Courier for all your updated football details.
