00:05this Thursday.
00:06Owners who demolished a historic pub without permission have been given a deadline to rebuild
00:11it.
00:12Grade 2 listed building The Punchbowl Inn at Hurst Green in Ribble Valley was demolished
00:16in June 2021 by owners Donnellan Trade and Limited.
00:20They have now been given until December 19th to restore it.
00:24A 29-year-old man from Blackpool was arrested after police were called to disturbances at
00:28a home at Ansley Avenue late in on Tuesday afternoon.
00:31Five officers were deployed to the incident and Russell Robinson of Grenfell Avenue was
00:37charged with obstructing resisting of a constable in the execution of their duty.
00:43He was bailed and will appear at Lancaster Magistrates Court on November 1st.
00:48Burnley Town Centre will see more of a police presence as Lancashire Constabulary has named
00:52it as a crime hotspot.
00:54The police presence is hoped to curb crimes such as open drug dealing and antisocial behaviour.
01:00Cash payments at a Lancaster City Council car park have been withdrawn after a string
01:03of thefts and damage to pay and display machines.
01:06Ten machines have been damaged on car parks across Lancaster and Moorkham since the end
01:11of August, with four of these in the past week.
01:14On each occasion, the cash boxes attached to the machines have been cut open and removed.
01:19It is estimated the replacement cost will cost the taxpayer around £40,000.
01:24A 32-year-old woman from Wigan has admitted being drunk and in charge of a child under
01:28the age of seven.
01:30Danielle Partington of Smithweed Avenue, Hindley pleaded guilty to the offence at the Victoria
01:35Inn on July 3rd.
01:36She was given a six-month conditional discharge and must pay £111 to the court and victim
01:42services.
01:43And finally, the weather.
01:45A dry day with a number of sunny spells and a maximum temperature of 11 degrees.
01:49Going into this evening it will be a bit more crisp with some frost and mist and a minimum
01:53temperature of minus one.
