00:07First up, in central Lancashire, it's the Preston Christmas Light Switch-On on Saturday November 23rd.
00:14Starting at 5.30pm, the event takes place on the Flag Market and is free to attend.
00:19This year's line-up includes legendary band The Drifters,
00:23Clubland Reborn, America's Got Talent's Rylan Petty,
00:27Do It Like Dua, Heatwave's Roy Carter, Preston's Kimberley Fox,
00:32Halfmark and Corrie favourite Mikey North, also known as Gary Windass.
00:37There will also be appearances from the Slightly Mischievous Grinch,
00:40The Spud Brothers and of course Santa.
00:44Over on the Fylde Coast, Rocky Horror Picture Show is on at the Winter Gardens Opera House
00:48between Tuesday November 18th and Sunday November 24th.
00:53This sell-out production stars Australian superstar Jason Donovan as Frankenfurter,
00:57a role he is reprising after 25 years.
01:01Expect the biggest party ever with fun, frolics, frocks and frivolity,
01:05as well as timeless classics like Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet and of course Time Warp.
01:11Tickets are still available for all the dates starting from £23.75.
01:17Up in Lancaster, it's the first night of the award-winning Lancaster on Ice on Saturday November 23rd.
01:23Taking place in Dalton Square, the popular event runs until January 5th.
01:28As well as the ice rink, this year will see the return of Christmas market stalls,
01:32the giant teepee bar and a giant ferris wheel.
01:36It will be open 9am to 10pm every day apart from Christmas Day.

01:45Over in East Lancashire, ABC An Intimate Evening with Martin Fry
01:50is on at the Burnley Mechanics Theatre on Saturday November 23rd.
01:54Dive into the heart of pop history with Martin Fry's autobiography A Lexicon of Life
02:00and experience an intimate evening of music and conversation
02:03which celebrates the hits that defined a generation from The Look of Love to Poison Arrow.
02:09The show runs between 7.30pm and 10pm
02:12and tickets are still available starting from £35.
02:16Finally, just outside of Lancashire,
02:19Light Night Wigan is on between Thursday November 21st and Saturday November 23rd.
02:26Taking place at Mezzanine Park, this is a free festival of beautiful illuminations
02:32which highlights the park and shines a light on the borough of Wigan and Lee.
02:36Light Night Wigan is delivered in partnership by Things That Go On Things,
02:41Wigan Council and a host of skilled individuals.
02:44Although the festival is free, tickets are required which can be bought online.
