00:00The Florida Aquarium in Tampa moved its nine African penguins to higher ground from their
00:05habitat on the first floor to protect them ahead of Hurricane Milton. The president of the aquarium
00:10said the penguins are just some of the quote several animals around the building that have
00:15been moved. The CEO of the aquarium Roger German had this to say. We have nine African penguins
00:21and they are on our first floor and in their home but we do have temporary home built for them and
00:26they've moved up to the second floor well above any type of tidal surge that might affect the
00:31building and then we have several animals around the building that are on the ground floor that
00:36have all moved to second floor locations and safe locations that we plan for things like this so
00:42they have nice homes even though they may be a little temporary. Other animals that were moved
00:46include moon jellies, snakes, lizards, turtles and alligators.
