Babe Laufenberg gives his thoughts on how the Cowboys can prevail against the Lions. The Cowboys have injured players that may make it challenging against the Lions.

00:00Babe, Lauffenburg joined us here on one Oh five, babe, given what we've seen the last
00:04two weeks from the Cowboys, which is them winning physical football games in like the
00:10face of a lot of adversity, whether it be with injuries or self-inflicted wounds or
00:14whatever, does that give you more confidence in Dallas's ability to handle what probably
00:20felt like an easy loss, maybe three weeks ago.
00:23And now you look at it and say, well, we've seen them actually win some of these games
00:27that are similar to what we anticipate this one being.
00:30I think so.
00:32I think it's a good point because now you you've shown that, hey, we can play a game
00:37without Micah.
00:38We can play without the law.
00:40Now, Pittsburgh's offense is pedestrian.
00:44This offense is really, really good.
00:47So it's going to be a new test for I think the biggest thing, if you're a Cowboy fan
00:51that you can take away from all this is a lot of teams, they lose players, obviously,
00:56and they're not coming back.
00:57They're out for the season.
00:58They're done.
00:59And, you know, everybody talks about, well, let's get to Thanksgiving and see where we
01:04are.
01:05But, you know, they're going to get Micah back.
01:07They're going to get D-Law back.
01:08They're going to get De'Ron Bland back, maybe this week, if not this week, he'll be there
01:12for San Francisco.
01:13So they're going to get some really good players coming back, which a lot of teams, again,
01:19you have injuries and you lose, you know, they're gone for the season.
01:23Pittsburgh's lost three offensive linemen for the season.
01:26So I think this team is actually going to look a lot different in whatever it's going
01:30to be four, six, eight weeks than it does today.
01:34But I think, yeah, to answer the short answer to your question, no question, I think that
01:37it gives them confidence that you can go to Pittsburgh, play that kind of defense, which
01:42again, I thought much like the Cleveland game, the game sort of overshadowed the offense.
01:49Now the offense racked up, Cowboys racked up a lot of yardage, but kind of the same
01:54things, the struggles in the red zone have continued.
01:58And I don't see them, you know, turning the ball over, Dak had three turnovers in that
02:03game.
02:04I don't see that happening.
02:05Obviously week in and week out, he takes care of the football.
02:07We know that.
02:09But the offense is still, I think, not where they need to be or want to be.
