The older we get, the more we forget. I know in my case that’s true, so taking notes for ideas, thoughts and things you want to remember for your work is vital. And the ability to take those notes anywhere is even more so.

00:00Being able to take notes wherever you are is really important.
00:05It's really important to me and I've completely forgot what I was
00:12going to make this video about so I'm turning that into a video.
00:17I was taking a shower every day.
00:20I take a shower and I take my phone in there with me and I had
00:25two amazing thoughts for the video.
00:28I was going to make today, but the older I get the more I forget so
00:34having that phone and being able to Siri notes is so invaluable to
00:41me.
00:43So effectively I can take notes everywhere and you know this we
00:48all have the shower thoughts and these ideas and most of my ideas
00:52come out come about when I'm either walking my dog walking Wolf or
00:57actually being in the shower in the morning and today I had two
01:03amazing ideas and I've completely forgot them because I didn't
01:08write them down.
01:09So having notes having the ability to take notes whether it's on
01:13your Mac on your phone is really important the tools you use a
01:19different thing, but the fact that you can the fact that you should
01:23be able to do them easily and simply there is an app called drafts,
01:28which is actually a really good Mac app as well, but great iPhone
01:33app where you can just literally input anything for years.
01:38I used to use my task manager and just put stuff in the inbox.
01:41I still kind of do that but to be honest lately.
01:44Lately in past year or so I've been using Apple notes for all my
01:50note-taking and being able to use Siri to take those notes really
01:57just makes a world of difference and today I'm kicking myself
02:02because I still cannot remember those two ideas that I had and I've
02:07been thinking about it all morning.
02:09I can't remember what they were so I thought you know what great
02:13video topic be able to take notes wherever you are whether it's
02:18pen and paper or an app.
02:20So you don't forget those ideas.
02:24I heard a phrase recently called goldfish generation and it's just
02:29it makes sense people nowadays completely forget how to use analog
02:35stuff how to do things without technology the olden days used to
02:40have a paper map.
02:42Now, I can't I can I'm pretty good at it, but you generally can't get
02:46anywhere without having you know, Apple Maps or Google Maps or whatever
02:51you use anyway back to the original thing take notes be able to take
02:58notes wherever you are because just like me you're going to forget
