00:00Filipina Taekwondo Zinta Tiana Manjin made a historic performance after being injured.
00:07This is the first medal of the Philippines after 28 years in the 2024 World Taekwondo Championship in Chuncheon, South Korea.
00:18Manjin won the first round against the Korean bet, Yang Hee Kim, 14-8.
00:24But the Korean won back in the 2nd round with a score of 3-4.
00:30But the University of Santo Tomas Lady Jin still won in the 3rd and the last round, 7-6,
00:37so that Sehlyu Han could continue to win and win the gold medal for the Philippines.
00:43The competition is said to be one of the biggest Taekwondo tournaments for the juniors category that is held every two years.
00:52It started in Barcelona in 1996.
00:56This is also the last year for the Philippines to win a gold medal through Pinoy Taekwondo Jin Alex Borrobeo.
01:03Meanwhile, Manjin was the first Filipino Jin to win a gold medal in the competition.
