00:00What is the status of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' investigation into the leak of Malaysian-Chinese diplomatic documents

00:06on 21 August 2024, where the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that there was a letter of objection

00:15sent to the Malaysian Embassy in China,

00:17accusing the Chinese of being hostile to Malaysia,

00:19so that they immediately stopped the oil drilling activities in Sarawak.

00:23Secondly, what is the government's stance on the extraordinary hostilities

00:29carried out by the Pulau Pinang government

00:31against the 1,000 ships and cadets of the Chinese Navy?

00:39Because this sends a wrong message to the public,

00:43and we also see that this is very sensitive to the ongoing issues

00:48and the presence of military assets in Pettinggali.

00:53In terms of health, we are still conducting an in-depth examination,

01:00because documents like this should not be considered a public document.

01:41but extraordinary hostilities carried out by the Pulau Pinang government

01:45in accordance with the 50-year diplomatic relationship between Malaysia and China,

01:52and in the meantime, it is the port on call of the Pulau Pinang and Sripengusi.

01:59So, this has been approved by the Ministry of Defense.

02:06The Ministry of Foreign Affairs only gave a diplomatic permission

02:10for the ship to enter our territory and dock there.

02:15The rest is a matter of the state government.

02:18But the diplomatic request from the Chinese Embassy

02:23clearly requested these things to make a visit to schools

02:30specializing in teaching Confucianism and others.

02:34So, this has been handled by the Ministry of Defense.

02:40And the rest, we hope that if there is any violation of what they asked for,

02:50it will be investigated.

02:51But so far, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

02:54clearly what was requested during the diplomatic request,

02:59all of them did not violate any of our country's regulations.
