00:00Hello there, welcome to your weather update from the Met Office. Still cool outside, particularly
00:05on the east coast with a brisk wind, further west some sunshine, but we are chasing cloud
00:10over the next few days. Low pressure sits just to the south of the UK, higher pressure
00:14towards the north, so a squeeze on the ISA bars. But notice into next week those blues
00:19migrating across the country. We lose the wind, but we gain some cooler air. For the
00:24time being, through Friday afternoon, this cloud sits across more central and southern
00:29parts of England and Wales, with a few showers here. Brighter skies further north as that
00:33cloud burns back to the coast, and those winds again will be relentless coming in from the
00:38North Sea. It's the highest temperatures towards the west, the high teens at the very best.
00:43So through Friday evening and overnight, we watch as that cloud from the North Sea rolls
00:48in yet again. Low misty cloud at that for the north and the east of Scotland, and the
00:53cloud further south across England and Wales could produce a little bit of showery rain.
00:57Most places though will have a dry night, and again the wind will be a feature of the
01:01weather. Temperatures holding up around 4 to 7 degrees Celsius. Come Saturday morning,
01:07first thing, yes there will be some cloud around. But through the morning, the cloud
01:11will burn back, particularly across Scotland, so some brighter skies coming through here.
01:15A little showery rain can't be ruled out, slipping down towards the Midlands, southern
01:19parts of Yorkshire, towards Wales and central southern England. So a sharp shower through
01:23the afternoon. Many areas though seeing a fine end to the day with some sunshine as
01:27that har across the far north east of Scotland again clears towards the coastline. Here's
01:33your outlook through Sunday. Another fine day, however, towards the far south we could
01:38see a little showery rain clipping the southern counties of England and Wales through Saturday
01:42and into the first part of Sunday. Temperatures typically around 14 to 17 degrees Celsius,
01:48but it does turn cooler through the beginning of next week as the winds slowly ease. I'll
01:53see you later. Bye bye.
