00:00Some clear skies over the next few nights will allow a view of the Llyrids
00:05meteor shower peaking into the weekend and also the chance of seeing the aurora.
00:10However, through Wednesday evening the wind remains fairly gusty across Pennine
00:15districts as well as the Welsh mountains. Elsewhere across the north, Scotland
00:19seeing a lighter breeze and temperatures dipping close to freezing if not below.
00:22But it will be a crisp and bright start to the day come Thursday morning, any
00:27cloud along this East Coast burning off quite quickly. Now through Thursday
00:32morning, many areas will have some sunshine. It's going to be a dry day as
00:37well. However, notice towards the southeast this northeast wind is
00:41delivering more cloud to East Anglia, Lincolnshire, the southeast through the
00:45latter part of the day, even with a little showery rain. Elsewhere it's a
00:47fine afternoon, temperatures reaching the mid, perhaps even high teens across
00:52Western Scotland yet again. Through Thursday evening this cloud migrates
00:55westwards. Clearer skies anywhere from Cumbria northwards, Northern Ireland as
01:00well. Starry skies here and that breeze relentless coming in from the North Sea.
01:04Temperatures holding up there across England and Wales but notice this rain
01:08across East Anglia, the Midlands pushing towards East Wales. Some showery bursts
01:13can't be ruled out further southwest and we will see some scattered and relatively
01:18intense showers towards the south and east through the afternoon. Fine and dry
01:21anywhere from Lancashire, perhaps northeast England northwards. Now the
01:26outlook into the weekend, that cloud and rain retreats towards the east but it
01:29could clip Scotland through Saturday. Dry and brighter weather towards the west of
01:33Scotland on Sunday before this cold air sinks southwards. At the same time
01:37milder conditions slowly move in from the southwest with some outbreaks of
01:42rain into the first part of next week. So here's your city's list for Saturday. A
01:48lot of more clouds, a little bit of showery rain, temperatures struggling a
01:51little bit but feeling a little bit milder in the south. The air is slightly
01:55warmer. And here's your outlook through Sunday. So all in all yes we're likely to
01:59see more of a mobile pattern, always more in the way of cloud. Brighter skies on
02:03Sunday, perhaps the western side of Scotland. I'll see you later, bye bye.
