00:00Hello there. High pressure in charge into the weekend. Things look very settled indeed.

00:06Some cold nights, some bright days with some good spells of sunshine.

00:10However, there are subtle changes afoot towards the south west in terms of wind and across the far north with more in the way of cloud.

00:19However, through Wednesday evening and into Thursday morning, the clouds across Wales, central southern England and the west country melts away.

00:26More of a breeze towards the south, keeping temperatures up elsewhere.

00:30A fairly widespread frost as temperatures dip below freezing.

00:34Lowest values possibly the Cairngorms of Scotland where we could see a minus six degrees Celsius.

00:40Across the far north of Scotland, more in the way of wind here.

00:44And this is going to drag in some cloud first thing on Thursday morning.

00:49And we can't rule out the odd spot or two of rain associated with that cloud across Shetland.

00:54More clouds across the far north west of Scotland.

00:56But inland, it's a bright start with some blue sky patchy clouds for Northern Ireland.

01:01But again, it'll be a fine morning here.

01:04And then we run into some clear skies, crystal clear skies with lots of sunshine to start the day.

01:09But if you are stepping out wherever you are, it's going to be a chilly one.

01:13Now, through the day, winds remain light across the bulk of the country.

01:17However, to the south, we will notice as the wind picks up some strength

01:21and perhaps even turns quite gusty through the afternoon across the moors of the west country, southern parts of Wales.

01:29Elsewhere, yes, a lot of sunshine to be had.

01:32Away from the far north of Scotland, again, some showery bursts of rain for Shetland.

01:37And that cloud could sink towards Caithness, Aberdeenshire, as well as Sutherland.

01:42Temperatures typically will be around average for this time of year.

01:46But in the sunshine, it's going to feel quite warm.

01:49And that pretty much sets the scene for the next few days.

01:52Some frosty nights, some bright days, still rather windy towards the southwest.
