00:00Hello again and welcome to your latest weather update from the Met Office.
00:03There will be some low cloud, mist and fog first thing on Remembrance Sunday
00:07but otherwise it is going to be a largely dry day. Also exceptionally mild
00:11that's because we're dragging in our warm air from the south but notice there
00:15are a couple of fronts pushing their way in from the west as we go through the
00:18day. Taking a closer look through Saturday evening and the cloud and rain
00:22that we saw across parts of Scotland during the daytime that's now clearing
00:25away northwards otherwise and it is going to be a mostly dry night. I am
00:29expecting some mist and fog to develop particularly across parts of eastern and
00:33southeastern England and this could be a little bit dense at times. Temperatures
00:37aren't going to drop a huge amount, it is going to be a touch fresher than some
00:40recent nights but most places holding up in the mid to high single figures
00:43perhaps even double digits for quite a few towns and cities. As we go through
00:48the morning on Remembrance Sunday the mist and fog towards the southeast
00:51should gradually clear but some could linger across parts of southeastern
00:55Scotland and northeastern England but the time that we get to 11 o'clock it is
00:59a generally dry picture. There may be a few spots of rain where the cloud is
01:02thick enough perhaps towards eastern England and some central parts of
01:05Scotland but for most it is going to be dry and sunny for some as well. As we
01:10head into the afternoon staying mostly fine for the bulk of the UK but notice
01:14some wet weather that's starting to push in across parts of Northern Ireland. It
01:18is also going to turn windy here as well. Temperatures for some will be a touch
01:22higher than on Saturday with highs widely in the mid-teens Celsius but we
01:26could even get as high as 18, 19 perhaps 20 Celsius so that is exceptional for
01:31this late in the year. As we go through the end of the day on Sunday we are
01:35going to see this wet weather sweeping across parts of Northern Ireland could
01:38turn quite heavy at times as we go through the end of the day here so watch
01:42out could lead to some difficult driving conditions. The rain eventually then
01:45reaching far western parts of Scotland, England and Wales as we head through the
01:49early hours of Monday. Again temperatures not dropping a huge amount a little bit
01:53chillier towards the east and here we could once more see some mist and fog
01:57which could cause some problems for Monday's morning rush hour. As we go
02:01through Monday itself then and that rain will continue to make its way a little
02:05bit further eastwards there will be some heavier bursts but it shouldn't cause
02:08too many problems or in staying driest towards the east but here I am expecting
02:12things to turn cloudier with perhaps a little bit of rain arriving later with
02:15something a little bit brighter perhaps developing across parts of Northern
02:18Ireland, Wales and southwest England as we head through the afternoon. Notice
02:22temperatures down a couple of degrees compared to what we've seen over the
02:25weekend and that's the trend that we've got through the next few days really we
02:29are going to see temperatures dropping off. It is also going to be quite
02:32unsettled at times notice a heavy band of rain sweeping through on Tuesday that
02:36could cause some problems with some blustery winds as well but a change in
02:41where our wind is coming from from the northwest does mean that we are going to
02:44see temperatures taking a bit of a drop so they are going to return closer to
02:48average for the time of year as we go through the week. There's more information
02:52on all of that as well as the unsettled spell on both the Met Office website, our
02:55app and of course our social media channels. See you later.
