00:00Hello and very good morning to you on this Wednesday which is probably the
00:04driest day of the week. From tomorrow we'll see more cloud, rain and then
00:09showers but through Wednesday a ridge of high pressure keeping things fairly
00:13settled. The clouds will come and go, a few showers towards the east and then
00:17slowly through the night temperatures plummeting yet again so a chilly start
00:21to the day on Thursday before cloud and rain rolls in through Thursday and into
00:27Friday this weather front here extending towards the north as well as
00:31the east. However through this morning it may be a cold start to the day even with
00:36the odd pocket of air frost across the Glens of Scotland but away from
00:40Shetland, Orkney, Caithness, the far northeast of Aberdeenshire Scotland
00:44seeing some fine weather. Clouds and some brighter weather for Northern Ireland,
00:48Northern England extending down the country, a few showers across the far
00:51east there and for Wales as well as the West Country you've seen one or two
00:54showers towards the west but generally speaking it's a dry morning yet again
00:58though it's a cool one with temperatures in single figures. However through the
01:03first part of the day there will be some brighter weather around yet still
01:07towards the north and the eastern fringe of England under the influence of this
01:11northwest wind showers towards the north here and one or two clipping the far
01:16east. In land we could see one or two showers just developing through the day
01:20there'll be a fairly scattered affair many areas seeing dry weather but
01:24through the middle part of the day once the Sun really gets strong we'll see the
01:28cloud build filling in that blue sky particularly through into the afternoon
01:32before it tends to melt away through the latter part of the day. So many areas
01:36seeing a fine end to Wednesday before that though temperatures perhaps a
01:41degree higher than what we have seen through the last few days 15 or 16
01:45across Scotland and Northern Ireland 18 down towards the south as well as the
01:49east. Along the east coast though a bit cooler with that breeze and through
01:53Wednesday evening and overnight it's mostly dry yet again and with some clear
01:58skies and a light wind temperatures really taking a tumble however towards
02:03the west there's a slightly different situation the clouds is thickening we
02:06saw on that chart that the rain moving in. Before that though it's a mostly dry
02:11start across England Wales as well as Scotland through the first part of
02:15Thursday morning albeit rather chilly. More clouds for Northern Ireland and
02:19notice by around well 8 to 9 o'clock the first of the rain just pushing in
02:24eventually that rain will cover much of Cornwall, Pembrokeshire pushing up
02:28towards the Isle of Man and by the afternoon we'll see the rain making in
02:31roads across Western Scotland, North West England, the bulk of Wales as well as the
02:36West Country. Further east we'll see some bright weather to end the day but that's
02:39not going to last the cloud and the rain continues its passage northwards and
02:43eastwards through Thursday night with some strong winds and it's going to be
02:46windy particularly across Irish Sea coast through the day. Come Friday low
02:51pressure sits across the country two centres to that low it's fairly complex
02:55dumbling around each other and showers churning around the centre of the of
02:59this low-pressure system feeling rather cool temperatures around average if not
03:04below. So all in all through the weekend expect a fair amount of showers and I'll
03:09see you later have a lovely day.
