00:07And live from Manila, we have the first news, Beya Tindak. Beya, has the price started to rise?
00:18Igan, so far, there is no increase in the price of candles and flowers here in Dangua.
00:22But according to some, we talked about two to five days before the election, the price could double or more.
00:30Flowers and candles, that's what most people bring when they visit their loved ones in Puntud during the election.
00:41That's why it's only been two weeks since the election, and the price is expected to rise according to some vendors.
00:49The price will start to rise at 25 or 26, and we will be able to give a price to those who want an arrangement.
00:59In some stores that we visited here in Dangua, a bundle of orchids is now P800 to P850, but it could reach P1,000 to P1,750 per bundle.
01:13If it's in a basket, it's still at P300, so the price could double.

01:24Anthorium, which is one of the most expensive flowers in the world, is now priced at P560.
01:32It's expected to rise to P1,500 per dozen.
01:37Candle stores in Dangua are rare, but some vendors sell the cheapest and smallest candles for P5.
01:46The price of a candle can reach P180 to P200 depending on its size and design.
01:52Candles are said to not rot, which is why Noel, a vendor, decided to buy it while it's still cheap.
01:59The price of candles is increasing as the election is getting closer.
02:06It's better if they buy it now while the candles are still cheap.
02:16The average life of an arranged flower like this is one week.
02:21That's why the cheapest vendors here in Dangua should not be afraid to buy flowers even a few days before the election.
