05:20that are known for not handling very well.
05:22Well, Dodge addressed that,
05:24because the wide body not only looks very cool,
05:26it actually means that the car
05:28gets a lot of suspension upgrades.
05:30So it has stiffer anti-roll bars
05:32front and rear,
05:34and it's totally,
05:36totally manageable.
05:38The car stays really flat,
05:40and there isn't any unnecessary motion.
05:42The damping is good.
05:44It's definitely very planted in the corner,
05:46and thanks to that linear power band,
05:48I have easy control over the rear end.
05:50It's not scary.
05:52It's fun.
05:54Is it as, let's say,
05:56confident as an M5 competition?
05:58No, it's not.
06:00But it feels more analog than that.
06:02Even though, this year,
06:04we've gone to electric power steering.
06:06As far as electric racks go,
06:08this one's really good.

06:34is that while it makes all those noises
06:36and it has all that power,
06:38it doesn't actually sacrifice the comfort
06:40that you would come to expect with performance cars.
06:42I've got this in street setting right now
06:44because it's the adjustable dampers,
06:46and it's really easy to live with.
06:48You know, we are on very smooth roads right now
06:50in the canyons of California,
06:52but when we've hit bumps and when we've hit
06:54slightly craggy road, is that a word?
06:56It's been fine.
06:58You can live with this car every day
07:00and you would never have a complaint.
07:02Well, if you live up north, maybe get some snow tires
07:04because there's a lot of torque
07:06to those rear tires.

07:52from hood to roof to deck lid

08:40But yeah, obviously, this is the wide body

08:44because that's what makes the look of this.

09:40what it has the Alcantara.
09:42This is really nice.

09:52Even if over time it wears,
09:54especially on the steering wheels,
09:56I think it makes the interior feel so much more upmarket.

10:26The only issue that I have is that
10:28these big, fat, meaty American bolsters
10:30on the sides here make it so I can't
10:32turn the steering wheel if I'm in a racing position.

10:36I find that I can't move it all the way
10:38as my elbow hits it.
10:40This is actually quite chunky as well.
10:42Yeah, it's really lovely.
10:44I like the gauge cluster.
10:46I don't mind any of this.
10:48This is easy to use.
10:50Apple CarPlay, obviously, so it's all you really need.
10:52And if you're not listening to the sound
10:54of your supercharger,
10:56this has got the Harman Kardon for the 1500 bucks.
10:58It's very good.

11:02impressive sound system
11:04because what were we in recently?
11:06Oh, it was a Ford. I won't say which one,
11:08but it did not have a good sound system at all.

11:12It says SRT. It doesn't say Hellcat here,

11:34That's all you need.
11:36The choice for us here is an easy one.
11:38It's wonderful to live with.
11:40It's comfortable.
11:42It's as fast as you dare drive it.
11:44And it looks truly fantastic.
11:46Realistically,
11:48the far cheaper Scat Pack
11:50covers most of those bases.
11:52But that doesn't mean
11:54that you can't drive it.
