00:31Then there's the purely combustion-powered, a hybrid, and the inline.
00:36Hyundai's designers first created the new Kona EV before incorporating the design into
00:41the other models.
00:43They all have a recognizable light bar along the edge of the hood up front.
00:47Below this strip on the corners are the headlights.
00:50The 2024 Hyundai Kona retains both of its four-cylinder engines from the previous generation.
00:56A 147hp 2.0-litre engine will be the base model, with a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder
01:02engine offered as an option.
01:04The hybrid drivetrain revealed for the Kona in other regions might also be available.
01:10Kia EV5
01:13If you're going to buy a crossover EV SUV, then you may want to wait a little bit for
01:17the all-new Kia EV5.
01:20This one is bound to be a delight.
01:23If Kia's recent press releases are anything to go by, then we can expect great things
01:27from the EV5.
01:29So far, major specs and numbers are kept secret, but the overall design direction has Kia fans
01:34on a high.
01:36It draws most of its inspiration from the earlier announced EV9, and we have to say
01:40that this is very well done, from the amazing design on the outside to a very unusual design
01:46on the inside as well.
01:47The rear-hinged doors swing open to reveal a very spacious cabin with seats that turn
01:52in different directions.
01:54Considering that this is still a concept design and not the final production unit of the vehicle,
01:59we do expect a few things to be toned down.
02:01But you have to give Kia credit for being so aggressive with EV options you can buy
02:05from them.
02:07Dodge Charger
02:09When the next-generation Charger goes on sale for the 2024 model year, it will be an entirely
02:14new car for the Dodge lineup.
02:16A four-door model will also be added to the roster, but we'll learn more about either
02:20vehicle closer to its debut.
02:23There will most likely be more trim levels for the 2024 Charger, but we only know of
02:26three for now.
02:28The number of engines that will power the various trims of the new Charger is still
02:32to be disclosed by Dodge, but the base 340 model is expected to produce 455 horsepower,
02:38while the mid-range 440 model is expected to produce 590 horsepower.
02:43An all-wheel drive 800-volt architecture will be used by a high-performance trim known as
02:48SRT Banshee, although the model's horsepower capacity has yet to be disclosed.
02:53We also know that the initial prototype employs a multi-speed transmission rather than the
02:58traditional EV direct-drive system.

06:24Furthermore, Audi has confirmed that its Q6 e-tron will carry a massive 800V electrical
06:29system.
06:30It will also have two design variations, one regular crossover SUV shape and a sloped back
06:36version that gives a more sporty vibe.
06:39Judging by the number attached to the name, this should be a middle ground from what the
06:43Q4 and Q8 e-tron offer.
06:47Fisker Pear How would you feel if you could buy a really

06:56Since its announcement last year, Fisker has continued to drop snippets regarding the Fisker

07:02Over 5,000 reservations that have already been made for this budget crossover, which

13:16Although this stunning vehicle resembles the new Lyric EV SUV in terms of family resemblance,
13:22it stands out thanks to its slender lines, sweeping roof, and bustling rear end.

16:38be customary with EVs.
16:41For Ram drivers who wouldn't want to go too far from what they're used to already, the
16:45good news is that it still looks just like a good old Ram truck, just electric.
16:50The promised 500 miles range will make the Ram EV truck the longest range pickup truck
16:55with a battery.
16:56One downside here is that a toned down design also means that a lot of the features that
17:01came with the outlandish concept design may also be getting ripped.
17:05Ram is keeping most of the important information regarding the 1500 REV as exclusive as possible,
17:11and it may remain that way for a couple more weeks or months.
17:14All I can confirm right now is that the design still gets a trunk in the front, similar to
17:18its rival electric pickup trucks.
17:21Deos Vaian
17:22Let's now turn the heat up a little with a practical electric hypercar, the Deos Vaian.
17:30It's just about as impressive as it gets.
17:33From design to its performance specs, this is one hypercar that will surely make a statement
17:38before and after release.
17:41The curvy and subtle design features that it carries give the Vaian a very futuristic
17:46energy.
17:47Completely designed by one of the best car designers in the world, Italdesign, the hypercar
17:52is so cool and sexy.
17:54Additionally, when Williams Advanced Engineering does bring their Formula E expertise to build
17:59this hypercar, you know something big is cooking at the Deos labs.
18:04So much so, that the Vaian looks as if it could fly, and that may not be too far from
18:08possible with its proposed 2200hp powertrain.
18:12The estimated 1475lb-ft of torque will get this car from 0-62mph in 1.99 seconds.
18:20Now that is a hypercar that lives up to the name.
18:24Buick Electra E5
18:27Finally, Buick is also getting into the electric car race with this new Electra E5.
18:32Interestingly, this SUV will run on an Ultium battery platform that is designed by General
18:37Motors.
18:38It may also be similar in specs to the Cadillac Lyric, but a more budget version.
18:43The Electra SUV is expected to have between 350-400hp depending on trims and feature level.
18:49The design of the new Buick EV is quite balanced.
18:53On the outside, you're getting a good mixture of a traditional design and the futuristic
18:56style of an electric car.
18:58The interior, on the other hand, looks absolutely amazing and unique for the Buick brand.
19:03The style, color theme, space, multi-colored ambient lighting, and a curved 30-inch infotainment
19:09display.
19:10This is bound to be a pretty cool SUV for both China and US markets.
19:15Volkswagen ID Buzz
19:18While there are tons of big and small EVs on the market, the one department that seems
19:22to be getting the least attention is the large families that would like to quit gas.
19:27On that note, Volkswagen has decided to fill the gap with the 2024 Volkswagen ID Buzz.
19:33Grabbing inspiration from the older Type 2 microbus, this offers a nostalgic vintage
19:38vibe on the outside while hosting massive space on the inside with free-for-all seating
19:42in three rows.
19:44This fully electric van will come in both all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive options.
19:49The brand is currently aiming to get the 2024 ID Buzz to as high as 260 miles of range.
19:55The base-level single-motor rear-wheel drive ID Buzz will produce about 201 horsepower.
20:01As for the higher dual-motor trim with all-wheel drive, you should get as high as 295 horsepower.

20:18This joint effort between Honda and Sony looks like it's up for a massive debut with the

20:26Afila's powertrain details will be available later, but we already know how much tech will
20:31be going into this unique EV.
20:33Do not be fooled by the simple minimalistic design on the outside.
20:38This EV will come with about 45 cameras and sensors in different parts of the vehicle
20:43that I believe are supposed to aid several features, including self-driving.
20:47Yep, autonomous self-driving.
20:50Hopefully we don't have to pay extra money to access the features.
20:54I'm also expecting a powerful computer that will run the infotainment system that has
20:59been designed in partnership with Epic Games and driver assistance.
21:03Big tech giant Sony working with a traditional auto manufacturer Honda is a match made in
21:09heaven, but let's see how it will turn out.
21:13Polestar 2 2024 will be a special year for both Polestar
21:18as a company and the new upgraded Polestar 2.
21:22According to the company newsletter, the Polestar 2 will get an increase in power, range, improved
21:27sustainability and have a rear-wheel drive RWD model optional.
21:32The 2024 Polestar 2 will be available in four main models, standard range single motor,
21:38long range dual motor with performance pack, long range single motor and long range dual
21:43motor.
21:44Polestar is increasing the EV's range for 2024.
21:48You could be getting as much as 395 miles in some variants.
21:52Still, charging rates are stuck at 205kW unfortunately, a little slower than Tesla's supercharging
21:58speeds.
22:01Canoe The Canoe pickup takes the utility of all
22:05pickup trucks to a whole new level with its design, so the attention it's canvassed over
22:10the last few years does not come as a surprise at all.
22:13Thanks to being an EV, the company has taken full advantage of the pickup size to offer
22:18the best space for passengers, cargo and a ton of bells and whistles.
22:22As we draw closer to its projected 2024 availability, there is bound to be more hype in the direction
22:28of this truck, and we cannot wait to see how it performs in reality.
22:32The range on the Canoe pickup truck is set at around 400 miles, and it's also expected
22:37to put out a whopping 600 horsepower.
22:40Interestingly, the US Army was also attracted by the setup of the Canoe pickup truck and
22:45has already ordered a fleet of modified versions.
22:48Moreover, companies like Walmart are interested in a cargo delivery version of the same pickup
22:53truck.
22:54More orders means the project is still alive and we should see the final production very
22:58very soon.
23:00Acura ZDX
23:03This is clearly Acura's first major attempt to join the EV movement, however expectations
23:09are already high for the 2024 Acura ZDX.
23:12There's been some chatter about the 2024 ZDX sharing the same platform with the Cadillac
23:17Lyric.
23:18While that might come as a shock, it should not distract you from the bigger picture.
23:22The Cadillac Lyric is a pretty amazing ride, and if that's anything to go by, then we may
23:26be getting the 2024 ZDX with around 500 horsepower at its most powerful stage.
23:32Acura has not yet stated what the battery capacity will be.
23:35Nevertheless, the 2024 Acura ZDX may be getting the same 102 kWh battery from the Lyric.
23:41So we're also looking forward to the range in the 300 mile per charge region.
23:46The 2024 ZDX is expected to retail at about $60,000 to $70,000 for its base model, and
23:52we are looking forward to how that turns out in production.
23:56Hyundai IONIQ 7
23:59The 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 7, an all-electric SUV resembling the three-row Hyundai Palisade,
24:05is the new electric car Hyundai plans to use as a trigger for deep market penetration.
24:11This vehicle will have a seating capacity of 7 or 8.

25:26While there's a high chance that a lot of these may be excluded from the production
25:31unit, it would be great to see what would be left in it.
25:34The Lincoln Star is expected to arrive in 2024 as a 2025 model, and we already know
25:39that it'll be available in the options of either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive with
25:43an estimated price tag of $70,000.
25:48Chrysler Airflow
25:51Chrysler may not be the most consistent car brand in the world, but they are trying to
25:54switch up this narrative with an all-new entry.
25:57The Airflow EV concept was already revealed, but what we have right now looks like the
26:02vehicle that is closer to the production model.
26:05The Airflow will have the option of dual motors fitted on the front and rear wheels.
26:10Each of these motors will have about 201 horsepower.
26:13This already sounds exciting, and I look forward to seeing how Chrysler optimizes the
26:17drive to get the best out of these powerful electric motors.
26:21The brand has already mentioned that this SUV is getting a 118 kWh battery pack that
26:26gets you around 400 miles of range, which is a pretty good number, and also in the range
26:31of some of the longest-lasting EVs already in the market.
26:35There are a ton of futuristic features in the interior of the Airflow, and if they are
26:40able to get anywhere close to this concept model, we've got an almost sci-fi looking
26:44EV on our hands.
26:48Rolls-Royce Spectre
26:50The hallmark of a Rolls-Royce has always been quiet, smooth propulsion.
26:55It has had a V12 engine ever since the company's brand was incorporated into the BMW Group
27:01in 2003.
27:03But other than nostalgia for gasoline, there are a few reasons why switching to an all-electric
27:08power won't enhance the distinctive Rolls-Royce experience.
27:12The first-ever 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre EV fills that gap.
27:18The luxury brand makes the front and rear electric motors for the Spectre.
27:22They produce 664 pound-feet of torque and 577 horsepower.
27:27A battery that has a capacity of more than 100 kWh provides power.
27:32Although it has a different design, the battery has the same chemistry as the BMW iX M60.
27:38According to Rolls-Royce, the Spectre's anticipated range on a full charge is 320 miles.
27:44By applying the WLTP standard, which is utilized in Europe, although EPA estimates can vary
27:49slightly, a range of about 300 miles is reasonable.
