00:00This that you call a success, is this not something that is arising right from our biological core?

00:07What does being successful mean? It's basically a kind of domination that you have over others,

00:11right? Now don't talk about the success of an Einstein or a Gautam Buddha or a Krishna,

00:16right? Keep them aside. In general parlance, when you talk of success, what do you mean?

00:21I am better than the others. I have power over the others. If you have only as much as everybody

00:27else has, would you call yourself successful? Success, you see, therefore is necessarily

00:32violent because you consider yourself successful only when you are ahead of 40 others.

00:37Competitiveness is biological. Compassion has to be taught.

00:42Attraction and attachment are biological. Love has to be taught.
