Transcript
00:00If we do something to make someone else happy by deceiving our own self, is it worth it?
00:06You cannot make someone else happy by deceiving your own self.
00:09That kind of a thing cannot exist.
00:11That kind of a thing exists only in ignorant kind of stories or novels or movies where
00:17you say that, you know, I want to just suppress my own pleasure or happiness to make the other
00:22happy.
00:23The characteristic of the real thing is that it is not exclusive in nature.
00:27If helping someone makes you feel sad within, then that help is of no use.
00:33If the help is really authentic, you will find that it fills up your heart, it raises
00:39you from within.
00:40There is a certain joy.
00:41Even if that involves losing time or making effort or losing money or compromising on
00:47something, all those things will be there, but still there would be an internal fulfillment.
00:51So both parties will gain.
00:52One party will gain as the receiver of the help and the other party, the helping party,
00:57will gain through inner fulfillment.
