Questi dati, che hanno dietro un'umanità e una persona, hanno l’assoluta necessità di essere protetti e tutelati in rete. Il regolamento generale per la protezione dei dati personali è quindi un presidio importante per la sicurezza dei dati dei cittadini e per la libertà. Occorre sempre trovare un bilanciamento tra le esigenze del business e dell’impresa e la preservazione del dato personale, che nell’era digitale è la forma più preziosa ed evidente di libertà”. Così Agostino Ghiglia, membro del collegio del Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Gpdp), a margine della seconda giornata di ‘LakeComo 2024’, la conferenza internazionale nata per contribuire al confronto sulle politiche digitali di oggi e di domani e alla quale prendono parte istituzioni, imprese, università e centri di ricerca.
