00:10Wilson has been acting with the same famous crew of comedians for decades,
00:14including Ben Stiller, who's a close friend. They've been given the apt nickname the Frat Pack.
00:19Of course, Wilson's brother, Luke Wilson, is also a familiar face in this group of tightly-linked
00:24actors. Owen has another famous Hollywood link that predates fame. He was roommates
00:29with Wes Anderson while they were both students at the University of Texas at Austin. No wonder
00:34Owen has appeared in so many of Anderson's movies. While Owen might have a signature catchphrase,
00:39"'Wow!' "'Wow!'
00:41"'Wow!' He also has a distinct facial feature that sets him apart from the rest of the Frat Pack,
00:46especially his brother Luke. So what's the deal with Owen's nose?
00:51Owen Wilson broke his nose twice. Since it's pretty obvious when you look at him,
00:55Wilson had to address this story when he sat down with Wired in February 2022
01:00to answer the web's most searched questions about him. He said one of the breaks happened,
01:05"'At University of Texas, yeah, playing, we were doing intramural flag football, and I got banged.'"
01:12Wilson addressed his broken nose with the Los Angeles Times in December 2001, too,
01:16and said people felt comfortable speaking frankly to him about it. Quoting what he
01:20sometimes hears from others, he said,
01:22"'You look kind of odd. Disfigured.'"
01:25Not exactly the nicest feedback to get. However, Wilson isn't terribly worried about it. He added,
01:30"'You know, probably my nose wouldn't have been that great even if it hadn't been broken.'"
01:34But besides these few explanations, Wilson rarely discusses his nose in interviews,
01:39despite it being one of the top questions about him on Google. Maybe he's just sick
01:43of it being his defining feature. Whoever said Owen Wilson looks disfigured is on their own.
01:48The dude has his own entry in Urban Dictionary for being dubbed the Butterscotch Stallion
01:52because of his flowing blonde hair and supposed romantic prowess. The term gained so much
01:58traction that Entertainment Weekly published a piece in 2006 with the legitimate question,

02:06While he's never been married, Wilson has dated a slew of stunning A-list women,
02:10including Demi Moore, Sheryl Crow, and Kate Hudson, per the U.S. Sun. Wilson's also a father
02:16to three children from three different relationships. He has a son, Robert Ford Wilson,
02:21whom he shares with his ex-partner, Jade Duhl. He also has a son, Finn Lindqvist Wilson,
02:26with fitness instructor Caroline Lindqvist. Wilson also has a daughter, Lila Aranya Wilson,
02:32with ex Veroni Vongsvarats, who claimed to the Daily Mail that Wilson wasn't showing up as a dad.

02:47Owen Wilson usually rocks his signature shaggy golden mane in his movies,
02:51whether he's playing Hansel, the ridiculously good-looking model in Zoolander,
02:55or bonding with his cute canine twin, an endearing yellow Labrador retriever in Marley and Me.
03:00But when he was cast as TVA agent Mobius M. Mobius in the Disney Plus series Loki,
03:06Wilson underwent a dramatic makeover. His new look consisted of short gray hair and a mustache.

03:13"[It was nice on this to have sort of a different look,
03:16and I think that sort of made it easier to sort of slip into Mobius' shoes, so to speak.
03:21It's grizzled, and that's what this role called for."
03:24In his excitement over his appearance change, Wilson forgot an important rule of joining the MCU
03:29— divulging even the smallest of spoilers during interviews is forbidden.
03:33So, when he mentioned that his Loki character would be sporting a stache,
03:37before fans laid eyes on the facial hair,
03:39Marvel tried to strike the fear of Odin in the actor. In an interview with Esquire,
03:44Wilson mentioned an ominous text he received that simply read,
03:47"...strike one."
03:48"...I don't know who that was from. We looked into it, and
03:51we think it might have been Kevin Feige using a burner phone or something."
03:57Luckily, he never reached enough strikes to find out what happens when an MCU star strikes out.
