00:00Hey, how's it going? Dave2D here. So Amazon reached out to me and they said,
00:05Hey Dave, we'd like to partner with you to make a gift guide for tech under $100.
00:09And I said, sure, that sounds like a great idea, but I didn't want to cover tech that was geared towards tech enthusiasts.
00:15I wanted to do stuff that I would give to my family and my friends for the holidays.
00:19And in front of me are four relatively simple items that are tech related.
00:24They're for people that enjoy tech, but they're not super complicated.
00:27Okay, so first up we have the Tile Pro Combo Pack.
00:30These are some new trackers from Tile.
00:32They're basically tiny Bluetooth beacons and you can stick them on anything,
00:36your wallet, your purse, your backpack, your keys,
00:38basically anything that you want to keep track of through a location device,
00:42this is perfect for it.
00:44It can be something that you misplace once in a while, like your keys,
00:46and you can keep track of it.
00:47Or it can be something a little more substantial, like if you're traveling,
00:49you can stick it in your luggage, and if you're within 200 feet or so,
00:52you can keep tabs on it.
00:53Now these new ones come in a nicer design than they did before,
00:56they have better range, and they're still super easy to set up.
00:59Next up is the Data Traveler from Kingston.
01:01So this thing looks like a simple USB key, and it is.
01:04It functions as a USB key when you want it to.
01:07But if you'll notice, it actually has a lightning connector.
01:09So this plugs right into your iPhone,
01:11and it allows you to offload and store photos and videos.
01:14And obviously you can use this device to transfer between your computer and your phone.
01:19And obviously you can use this device to transfer between your computer
01:22or your family and friends, or just use it as a backup device.
01:25It comes in a few sizes.
01:26This one's 64 gigs, and it holds a lot.
01:28But it's a great gift for anyone who has an iPhone,
01:31especially the older ones with smaller capacities.
01:33But just anyone who has an iPhone who doesn't have access to a computer,
01:37or doesn't know how to use their computer to frequently backup their stuff.
01:40It's a tiny device, and it gives you a lot of extra storage at a reasonable price.
01:44Okay, next up we have the Dymo Mobile Labeler.
01:47And this thing is a Bluetooth label maker,
01:49which might seem like a dorky gift at first, because all it does is make labels.
01:52But for the right person, this thing is awesome.
01:54For someone who's really organized, or who likes to be organized,
01:57and wants their stuff labeled and printed out, it's so cool.
01:59You're labeling jars, storage boxes, any kind of household stuff.
02:03Or if you like to have organized cabling or storage.
02:05Basically, if you know someone who likes having stuff organized,
02:08they're going to enjoy this.
02:09And this particular unit is Bluetooth enabled,
02:11so there's no buttons and keyboards on this thing to complicate it.
02:14It's all done through an app on your phone.
02:16You create the label in the app, and then you print it out remotely.
02:19It's super easy to use.
02:21Okay, last up we have the Amazon Echo Dot.
02:23And this is probably the most techie device of all the things in here,
02:26because it can be used for some very advanced home automation and stuff.
02:30But for the people that aren't super techie,
02:32this is a great hub for voice activated music controls,
02:35or just as like a personal assistant.
02:37And it can even read out audiobooks from Audible.
02:39It's really easy to set up, and it's super inexpensive.
02:42So, that's basically it.
02:43Four great gifts for people that aren't super tech savvy.
02:46All of this stuff is linked in the video description below.
02:48Hope you guys enjoyed this video.
02:49Thumbs if you liked it, subs if you loved it.
02:51See you guys next time.
03:13Thanks for watching.
