00:00Travel from South America back to Florida with me."
00:03Two days before Liam Payne's untimely passing, his girlfriend Kate Cassidy shared on TikTok
00:07that she had left Argentina after spending time there with the singer.
00:12In the TikTok, Cassidy documented her flight back to Florida, admitting she was only supposed
00:16to be in South America for five days before her trip got extended.
00:19I was so ready to leave, honestly loved South America but I hate staying in one place for
00:23too long and we were supposed to be there for like five days turned into two weeks and
00:27I was just like I need to go home.
00:28Of course my seat was 1D, I feel like this happens every single time I fly.
00:32I also get such anxiety before flying so I like broke out in this like weird rash.
00:36I obviously ate a bunch of sweets at the lounge, they had like no food options so I was like
00:40okay ice cream and cookies, it is.
00:42I had a glass of champagne, I bought this neck pillow because I normally bring squish
00:45mellows on the plane but I gave it to Liam so.
00:49Her post came two days before the One Direction member reportedly died after falling from
00:52the third floor of his hotel room in Argentina, state police told ABC.
00:57He was 31 years old.
00:59Access Hollywood has reached out to Liam's team for comment.
01:04Payne was born in England and rose to fame on the fifth season of X Factor in 2008.
01:08He was eventually placed in the newly formed boy band One Direction with fellow bandmates
01:12Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.
01:15Although the group didn't win that season of X Factor, they went on to be one of the
01:18best-selling boy bands of all time, known for their songs like What Makes You Beautiful
01:22and Night Changes.
01:24After the group broke up, he embarked on his solo career and debuted his first solo single
01:28Strip That Down in 2016.
01:31Payne is survived by his son Bear Grey Payne who was born in 2017 with his ex-girlfriend
01:36Cheryl Cole.
01:37Back in 2020, Liam opened up with Access Hollywood about how fatherhood was going for him at
01:41the time and shared how he'd talked to his former bandmate Louis Tomlinson about their
01:45parenting experiences.
01:46Me and Louis speak about it quite a lot.
01:49I mean, from our perspective, actually, for me and my ex, when we first had Bear and like
01:55after a few weeks, I don't know what Cheryl did at the time, but she got him in this beautiful
01:59sleeping pattern.
02:00He was sleeping.
02:01And I was like, I don't know what the fuss is all about, like what are you guys talking
02:04about?
02:05And people used to come to our house and they'd be like, how on earth have you done that?
02:08Like how have you made it work?
02:11Because people were like, he's just so...
02:13We were very blessed and lucky with having Bear because he's so calm, there's no volume
02:17involved.
02:18He just toys out the camera every so often, like a little bit, of course kids do, but
02:21he's been a blessing so far.
02:22So for me, it was like, it was quite easy at the start in a sense.
02:28Louis just phones me up every so often, it's comforting hearing from another dad who's
02:31obviously outside the situation and has to visit and go in and out of it and hearing
02:35the dynamic of the things going on with them and what happens in that way.
02:38And his son's a tiny little bit older than mine, so I kind of get a lot of the different
02:43lessons and different things off him in a lot of ways, yeah.
02:45But he used to be like my decider of whether the song was going to like sink or swim, because
02:48when like Familiar and Different Things came out, he was like doing the full on baby rave
02:52in the house and whatever.
02:53I was like, it's really cute actually.
02:54And he would like, when I went over one time about a couple of months ago now, and I was
03:00babysitting because she'd gone out somewhere to somebody's party, and he was like, put
03:06music on.
03:07And I was like, okay, we'll put some music on.
03:08So I went over and started turning the music on, I put like a song on and it was one I
03:11thought was one of his favorites.
03:12He was like, oh no, this is not daddy's music.
03:14And I was like, what do you mean?
03:15He was like, it's not daddy's music.
03:17And I was like, he's like, play daddy's music.
03:19And as soon as I started playing, stack it up, whatever, he's dancing around the house.
03:22And I thought, this is just the best thing ever, like, no, it's so good.
