00:00Dodgers have been humiliating the Mets at Citi Field.
00:08They're destroying them.
00:10The first two games were just, it just got worse.
00:14It just keeps getting worse.
00:16It's got to be over today.
00:17They just have to finish him off because they've already stabbed him in the chest 30 times,
00:2230 to nine and run scored.
00:25I mean, they look, the place is ice cold.
00:29It's like a morgue.
00:31There's no anything.
00:32They're finished.
00:33I don't use the word bludgeoning a lot, Scott, but that's what I think is appropriate for
00:40this.
00:41And with it being Halloween coming up and all month, I really enjoy October, Scott,
00:46and the horror movies that are on TV all the time.
00:49And I've watched them all over and over.
00:52And one thing that, you know, a lesson to be learned from these movies is you've got
00:58to kill Jason or Freddy when you get the chance to, you know what I mean?
01:01Or Michael Myers.
01:03And it's not enough.
01:04I've seen these movies and, you know, he stalks them, you know, for two hours and he gets
01:09hit by lightning and he gets electrocuted and it's all over now.
01:13It's never over.
01:14So if you're the Dodgers, keep on bludgeoning.
01:18Come out strong once again and finish them off.
01:22Don't give the Mets any life.
01:24Things can flip on a dime, Scott, in playoff series.
01:27We've seen it before.
01:28A massive game tonight, obviously, for the Yankees and the Guardians.
01:31Guardians win today.
01:32Suddenly, we've got a series and all the pressure is on New York.
01:36Nobody expects Cleveland to win.
01:37Nobody thought Cleveland's going to win.
01:39Nobody's getting fired in Cleveland if they lose.
01:41Can't say the same thing about New York, right?
01:43So the pressure, you know, it can change in a hurry.
01:47You're the guy until you're not the guy, right?
01:50As we know in this world.
01:52So the Dodgers need to keep it going.
01:54Scott, just as a Dodger fan, it's a work of perfection what they're doing right now.
01:59I mean, 48 out of 51 innings scoreless, holding a post.
02:03They gave up two innings in like two runs, basically, in two innings.
02:07They got beat up once by San Diego in one inning and the Mets in one inning.
02:11The Dodgers, historically, as far as them taking pitches and working to count or moving
02:15into historic numbers right now, Keke Hernandez, we talked about his playoff magic.
02:21Everything's been unbelievable, Scott.
02:22The pitchers have been great.
02:23You can't even watch the games.
02:24They're so bad.
02:25I mean, they're kicking their ass so bad, you can't even watch.
02:30It's almost, you're right.
02:31The Dodgers are almost like one of those college football teams that nobody ever talks about
02:34when you're the best.
02:35It's like, whatever, dude, they win by 50 every week.
02:38Nobody wants to watch them.
02:39Nobody cares.
02:40It's one of those type of deals.
02:41I can't even watch.
02:42The game's over in five minutes.
02:43And I'm like, God, there's got to be something better than this on.
02:47Like, honestly, like today at five o'clock, I already know what's going to happen.
02:51If I were Peterson, I would be, I'd, you know, cable in my pants, seeing Ohtani walk
02:58up to the plate.
02:59The guy's breaking home runs every game now.
03:03It's over.
03:04Betts is smoking hot right now.
03:06Freeman is back today.
03:07That's how, that's how hot the Dodgers are.
03:09It's like a regular season for them, Scott.
03:11They're like, well, you know, we're playing a day game tomorrow, evening game.
03:14Let's rest Freddy today.
03:15Even though it's the playoffs.
03:17I know he's injured and he's beat up, but if they were down, he would have played and
03:21it doesn't matter.
03:22Dude.
03:23Edmund was hitting ninth the entire playoff, Scott.
03:25They put him in the cleanup hole last night.
03:27It's like they're playing fantasy baseball now and just scratching out the lineups, laughing
03:31it up.
03:32Did you see Nemo?
03:33He can't even run.
03:34He's got plantar fascia in both feet.
03:36He can't even run, but they got him out there.
03:39He looks worthless to me.
03:41The guy, he looks like a cripple.
03:44Even the Met players, as you talked about Grimace and the Met fans were pretty beaten
03:48down into Jack.
03:49Grimace is drunk at the subway station.
03:51He's passed out.
03:52The Dodgers have stole their soul.
03:56And the Mets last night, I think it might've been Winker or it might've been Nemo actually
04:00who said, well, it'll be a hell of a story if we're able to pull this off.
04:05It wasn't like, oh no, no, there's a lot of baseball.
04:08Like he even, no, he even like kind of admitted like, yeah, we're, yeah, this is overwhelming,
04:14but hey, it'd be a heck of a story if we can come back.
04:16It's not like, hey, we're not out of it.
04:18And like that edge, I think the Mets, I told you yesterday, I'm telling you, I saw the
04:22look in the Mets dugout the other night in which it's almost like you're a UFC fighter
04:27and the other dudes just taking you down and, you know, elbowing you and grounding and pounding.
04:32You can't stop it.
04:33And there's nothing you can do about it.
04:34And sort of like a football team when the other team's running the ball down their throat
04:38and everybody on defense just looks like they start tapping out.
04:41The Dodgers have the Mets on the ropes, but early runs are massive once again, dude.
04:46And the crazy thing is, Scott, you mentioned Peterson, dude, the Dodgers light Peterson
04:51up, bro.
04:52Like you'd go down the lineup.
04:53Everybody does.
04:54The Dodgers are hitting like 375 against this guy.
04:57So, and he's only going to last a couple of innings to begin with.
