Green Archers take down Soaring Falcons to secure final four berth  Defending champion De La Salle blasted Adamson, 70-45, at the UST  Quadricentennial Pavilion on Oct. 19, 2024 to clinch its sixth straight win and secure a Final Four berth in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament. The Green Archers improved to 9-1, a record that will be enough to make the semis as five teams have at least six losses, including the fifth seeded Soaring Falcons who dropped to 3-6 after the loss to La Salle. 00:00Press Conference, congratulations to the De La Salle Green Archers for securing a place in the Final Four, beating the Adamson Story Conference, 70-45.

00:12The Green Archers are now in their 4th straight Final Four appearance. We have Coach Topex Robinson, Kevin Cabao, and Joshua David.

00:21Coach Topex, congratulations for this victory. You're head-to-head with Adamson.

00:28Like the first round, it was a dominating win. Your thoughts about your team's performance this afternoon?

00:34I guess, again, these young men did what they're supposed to do, and that's compete with one of the best programs we do there.

00:45We still have a lot of work to do. They just stepped up, and I just love to see other guys stepping up also, not only the regulars.

00:55Just seeing those guys having fun and enjoying the moment that they get to play here.

01:01We reminded the team prior to this game that they're stepping on sacred grounds as far as basketball in the UAB.

01:09That's one of the programs that was so successful, was USC. I just want to make sure that we honor those players that played here and just did our best.

01:18Just fortunate that we get to win against Adamson this afternoon.
